Can we say that what has happened to Macclesfield is savage? Could’ve been worse. Might have been bought by Lily

The ref's reaction: [At least I think Mr Ben Atkinson, the referee, is Welsh?]

What a strange one.
In fairness to the Angels it was a 100% foul on the keeper.
A bad foul too, surely it had to be a booking ?
The ref messed up, the keeper messed up, but 2 wrongs don't make a right !

The ref messed up, the keeper messed up, but 2 wrongs don't make a right ! The ref waved play on because the keeper had the ball in his hands. I was always told to play to the whistle so no sympathy at all. No one's fault but the keeper.

Never mind the goalie's blunder, that was bloody quick thinking from the Hungerford player.
Reminds me, as these things always do, of Piggot's 'goal' at Dagenham...

The game has moved on from those far distant days when daveu and swordy last competed seriously on the football stage. When a striker dives in, misses the ball and wipes out the keeper, it is a foul simple enough. Shocking decision by the ref who deserves to be suspended after that performance. Cannot help but think objectivity and fairness gets ditched when the subject of Angels gets mentioned.
