To be honest its pretty easy to see why we score so few goals. Just watch our shooting practise before the game Your more at risk of being hit by the ball why queuing for a pint/pie than the ball going anywhere near the goal

Don't tar them all with the same brush Matt.
Altho to suggest away fans are banned from doing what most non league fans do as a result is just bizarre.

For christ sake. Pathetic behaviour. Part of me does think that I would have moved away if I disliked something that much not stand and endure it for 45mins. However, it should not happen in the first place. I know something happened because I heard two people talking about it at HT although I have no clue what.

This is sad to hear and hopefully Whitehawk fans realise this is a small minority that tarnish the reputation of Maidstone United fc. I hope the club take a strong stance and ban the individual(s) involved as I for one do not want to be associated with this type of behaviour. As for the game, another nail biting end but not to be again and it was a far result in my opinion.

The behaviour of some in the town end was disgusting last night - the Whitehawk fans did well to control themselves given the abuse the young girls were getting - to hear grown men trying to justify it as "if you come to football you have to be prepared to take it" was pathetic
The club should consider banning people if there's a repeat

Well I did manage to get to the game after all (albeit 20 minute late). I thought Whitehawk were a good side, and along with Truro on Saturday, are showing us how tough this league is and also that our current league position probably flatters us a bit.
I actually thought we played okay and probably created enough that a draw would have been a fair result. They did rough us up in the second half and the ref let them get away with too much of that. Their game plan appeared to be to stop Jay May by wrestling him to the ground throughout the second half in particular, and you have to say, it worked as he just couldn't get into the game. I thought Frannie did quite well and we certainly look more likely to get in behind defences when he plays. I was slightly surprised we brought him off as early as we did, I'd have given him at least another 15 minutes. Akrofi still seems to lack a finish.
Most important of all, I have to disagree with JDL about the chips. They were a little undercooked - a poor performance from the caterers who have as big a problem finishing the job, as the boys do on the pitch.

Having heard the "tits out" chant from the other end, it clearly was not just one or two people. I don't mind my Child coming to the ground and learning a few swear words, but wouldn't want them to think verbally abusing kids is OK.

Frannie did one good pass for the 55 minutes that he played. Akrofi comes on and he held the ball up, ran at defenders and took a shot when he could. Frannie did none of that. How he gets in the team ahead of Akrofi is a joke. He has done nothing for us this season. Jay needs to off load him and free up some wages.

We were awful, the sooner we start playing rather than hoofing then we might have a chance.
