Dirty dirty Whitehawk.
They have such talented attacking players - it's no surprise they've scored more goals then any so far this season.
So why on earth did they feel the need to play dirty games and fake injuries. So so shameful.
As for us, we could have scored late on more then once but we just didn't have the luck. But then again you shouldn't need luck.
They played fast and fluid and when we had the ball, bar a nice 5 mute spell mid way thorough the second half, we just froze, and they pressed.
We didn't deserve anything from it in my opinion, but the way in which Whitehawk bahaved made me sick. Shame on them.

I can take losing to a better team. I can't stand losing to a bunch of dirty diving cheats. The way they pulled Akrofi around at corners, you would think he was a six foot four inch threat at crosses. Never mind, their money will run out one day.

Good side Whitehawk but Flish still not fit and no wide men in second half. We just lumped it and hoped. Not good enough to maintain position till end of season.

Time and again we see sides come and play a fast paced pass and move game, we were made to look pedestrian for a lot of the game tonight. Same style of play that we portrayed in the Ryman south, just better players playing it. Back four apart from Callam Driver, must be under orders to hump the ball back to the opposition as soon as it clears our penalty area. Not a lot too get the fans excited I am afraid and I wonder how long before the crowds start dropping by 100 or so per game..

I think Jay summed it up pretty well, simply beaten by the better team. They have players in key positions who have that creative spark but we battled as we always do and could of sneaked a point at the end with Flishers shot against the post. I would love to see him play up front every week, also thought Akrofi was brilliant when he came on, chasing everything down and a few lovely touches to put them on the back foot.

Disappointing result tonight. However, looking at the table, we have now scored 20 goals in 20 games - a pleasing perfectly whole average of 1 goal per game. Imagine had we scored our usual 1 goal, this average would have been a much less aesthetically pleasing 1.05 goal per game. So there we have it - The positive outlook on tonight's result!

No argument they were a better team. What surprised me was how much we were out - muscled across the pitch. And how we were unable to counter their gamesmanship. Whitehawk were too clever for us but I wouldn't want to watch them every week. Not a great advert for football.

Am I going to be the first one to mention the linesman on the main stand side?

Well, this was the game that would show if we had what it takes for promotion this season.
And the answer isn't one DaveU will like.
Positives from the game?
It wasn't windy. The chips were properly cooked for a change. The big bloke with the horn was back. Quite a few people around me enjoyed exchanging information about the latest Man U score all evening. I managed to get to Aldi just before it shut.
And I had one of those scans today where they inject you with a radioactive isotope and you are radioactive for the next 24 hours, so it's a good job the Town End wasn't too crowded.

Dirty is the wrong word . Cynical is better they were worldly and more streetwise.
Lest not forget they played the biggest game of there lives just two days ago and only started to tire in last five mins ,they made us look so pedestrian and slow .Beaten by another top side at home .

Agree we were beaten by the better team but why don't we attack in the first half like we do in the second half. Flish needs to play up front he is wasted on the wing. Akrofi looked good when he came on. Maybe we should play 433 with May flish and Akrofi as the strikers. We don't create enough chances. They out muscled us all over the pitch. We need players like that who can bully other players. We are too weak in certain areas. Agree with Jay in that we need to freshen up the squad. A striker and defender would be nice. But we move on and hopefully win on Saturday and have a nice cup run.

Before the usual avalanche of shite descends on pmh, I'd just like to get in a quick agreement.
