Stones currently fourth in the last six form table, so having finally got our first home win in the league, hopefully we can push on a bit. Hornchurch have won their last two home games - Hemel and Torquay - but away form less good. No wins in their last six and just three draws. Can Greenidge play on Saturday and if not is Rafe Brown available? Of some concern must be the article in this week's KM where George is singing the praises of Harry Ludovica. Thinks he is making progress after a slow start. Agree with the second bit, but progress? Really? Oh well, likely that squad strength and depth will be tested in the next few weeks with games coming thick and fast as we catch up with those missed for cup run and the M25. Put a run together and we may yet get close to the play off places by Christmas. Now that would be nice.

We’ve done well against Darryl in the past, especially the bigger occasions

certainly won't be easy they've got some decent players and ex-Stones Ollie Muldoon and Tom Wraight Ollie Muldoon doesn’t get many starts I don’t think and Tom Wraight is a very good NLS player who normally does well. As for George’s comments on Ludovica they are impossible to fathom unless he is indeed his love child or his blackmailer. Especially when George subbed him as a sub. Mind you George also thinks it’s a ten out of ten for an away draw albeit at Dawking. Also difficult to fathom. Maidstone United all over really. Impossible to fathom.

Thanks. Definitely impossible to understand George's comments, having him on the field is like going down to 10 men

I guess managers don't like to admit when they get it wrong.
Although I'm guessing that George hasn't got to that point yet, maybe he just cannot believe he recruited a dud.
But can 2,000+ Stones supporters all be wrong ?

George won't be the first or the last manager to recruit a player who turns into a flop. It happens all the time at every club. Ludicrous is up there with the very worst to have a worn the black and amber shirt imo. And there is a fair bit of competition to join what has been a lengthy list over recent seasons. Occasional examples occurred in every reign but no question 'The Clown' broke all records by a distance.

I expect George to stand by his man for now.
I see Aaron Blair has deservedly been voted Player of the Month for October.
Oh for another decent striker.

“That’s my game, winning headers, " Did he really say that?
