No, what he actually said was "that's my game - wandering around aimlessly, not being able to read the game at all, and utterly failing to kick or head the ball".
But what George heard was "That’s my game, winning headers".
Entirely understandable.

“That’s my game, winning headers, " Did he really say that? Hard to imagine a player who worked with Duncan Ferguson being so poor in the air.

Proof of the pudding and all that.
Tbh seeing him in the black and amber is embarrassing.
Not all signings will succeed, George has done well enough.
Just a bit of tweaking is needed now.

One player gets sent off and costs us the victory. Another gets the blame and ridicule. I hate Maidstone fans sometimes.

Greenidge is a very good and effective centre back who 100% deserves our support.
Ludicrous on the other hand is a useless waste of space, time and money.

It’s not the negativity do much as the level of negativity or the way it is put across.
Fine that he isn’t the best and we all know but the amount and way it is said on here and elsewhere is way over the top.

He’s a Maidstone player and gets my support as long as he wears the shirt. Or I could trash him on social media and boo him on the pitch. That’ll improve his performance!

There you go, exaggerating again. Ludicrous doesn't get booed in the pitch when he's playing, however calamitous his efforts. Social media is the right place to express an opinion of the teams strengths and weaknesses, good performances and poor performances. If you only read positive comments about Greenidge and negative stuff about Ludicrous, maybe there's a reason for that.

Just been looking footballing stats on our under fire striker. If the 'facts' are correct, Ludo has scores 18 goals over his entire career dating back to 2017. Contrast that with Aaron Blair who whacked in 20 odd goals in NLS just last season. Perhaps our expectations were unrealistic.

You do understand we are nothing special?
We are at the very lowest level of full time professionalism.
If you want to go all big boy Premier League, crack on.
I won’t undermine the confidence of any Maidstone player by trashing him and making up nicknames on here.

Say what you like, Ludo imo is not a decent NLS striker.

Calling him ludicrous for a start. He has a given name, use it.

He's no way good enough for this level, we are effectively playing with 10 men when he's on the pitch. That isn't a vicious attack, it isn't hyperbole, it's just fact.
I don't boo him, I've never booed any Stones player, and I don't hear anyone else booing him, either. It's not his fault if he's being asked to play above his level, in fact it must be awful for him. It's George's responsibility, and he needs to face up to reality.
As for not criticising someone just because they're wearing a black and amber shirt, that just doesn't make sense. This is not a religious cult, it's a football club. And, without fans football clubs wouldn't exist beyond pub sides. We surely have the right to criticise the owners, managers and players?
