Stayed off this board after the game for the very reason that I knew the whining numpties would be out in force, mainly it would appear, newbies who've only ever known the relative success of the last few years. Well if this is your behaviour at the first sign of trouble the club would be better of without your fair weather support so bugger off back to your glory hunting premier league clubs. What a bunch of ignorant whining knob heads. I understand that the Club has a vacancy in its supporter recruitment department which i believe that you are an ideal candidate

Some silly behaviour from maidstone fans after the game aswell! I am all for the younger people having a good time (i was young once) sing as much as you want in the ground but i think that other people on the trains, pubs and streets generally are intimidated by a mob goading opposition fans. Its great that you travel (500 plus was a good turnout) but have a bit of consideration for the general public

Should we have the ability to get past Gateshead this is potentially a cracking tie at an excellent stadium with a brilliant pub nearby. I really hope we can do it

Coker has some of the trickery of Hines, but definitely more of a team player. A couple of times yesterday he went on runs hoping for a pass that never came. But I think he can easily adapt to the slower pace of the National League. His general movement was very good and created loads of space for others. Can't really recall another Stones player so effective without the ball. You could be talking about Ter Horst Maybe if we can get both in the team they can look for each other

Meaningless for the fans? We are 3 games away from WembleyI don't know about anyone else but a Wembley final is for me the ultimate day out and if we get there probably the biggest day in the history of Maidstone United Isn't it technically 4 games, 3 rounds from Wembley?
Aren't the semi finals two legs?
You are of course correct so i now cant be bothered tomorrow

Cannot get any enthusiasm to pay to go to this, cash in it for the club if we win but in reality been far too many disappointments of late at home (excl Gills) and we barely beat the swifts If we are staying in this league let’s bloody give the fans something to cheer about at home . That Worgan howler summed it up and at least brought a smile to my face, then you have DSY ,give me a break he would be long gone in most teams given his scoring record. We lost our only two individuals with any ability to score at this level on a regular basis. Win or lose this game is meaningless for the fans , it’s a half decent run in the league results we need to concentrate on . How the hell can we throw a result again against 10 men. Their manager was laughing at the end. Just embarrassing. Meaningless for the fans? We are 3 games away from Wembley I don't know about anyone else but a Wembley final is for me the ultimate day out and if we get there probably the biggest day in the history of Maidstone United

There is no reserve league to play in. Everybody from premier league down just has academies Apart from this one you mean www.suburbanleague.co.ukFair enough but its arguable whether that is of the required standard for National League quality players to get anything worthwhile out of it. There seems to be a lack of National league teams reserve sides in there.

We need a reserve team. I know all the arguments, ifs and buts... but it would give us somewhere to try out youngsters, give returned from injury players a run-out, give bench warmers some playing time - and provide us with a half-decent reserve goalie. There is no reserve league to play in. Everybody from premier league down just has academies

So we need to get Eileen Drury in the transfer window? I would much prefer Ian Dury (R.I.P)

There are some people on this board - but more so on the Facebook group - who seem to think it's a game of Football Manager and we need to be in the Champions League by 2025... We don't need to be in it. We need to win it ! 5 years before you suggested

Jay Saunders is being quoted as saying that he has drawn up a list of players he likes but most have already been snapped up by other clubs. At the end of the day it is all about quality and signing the right players who will make a difference. Jay did brilliantly last January and hopefully he can perform the same trick again. Interestingly, it seems that the club may be prepared to pay a fee for the right player. Would this be a first ? I was told by Jim Ward at a Kent League game that we paid £2000 for Steve Jones from Deal (That worked out well ) so the answer is no its not the first time we have paid a fee.

Can't find any confirmation anywhere other than that one tweet, and Judging by the responses their fans are particularly underwhelmed. Hope it turns out to be nothing more than idle speculation. And 25k is peanuts for the only regular scorer in our squad. The club are too naive with contracts, 25k, weren’t Dons paying that to clubs when back in the Ryman? Maybe we should have set the release clause at £50 million but then again if we had he wouldn't have joined us in the first place
