Not exactly a fanfare of trumpets to announce the contract extension for Sam Bone. But it deserves at least a "well done" to George. Other National League clubs were sniffing around and imo Sam will be a seriously strong player in NLS. Very good news.

Heard a rumour Gillingham were also having a look at him, so well done on getting him tied down for next season.

This is going to be controversial I know but two former players I would like to see come back and could be available after fleet have won promotion is Jack Paxman and Alex Finney. I believe Jack will be more likely to leave Fleet as he has been Loaned out quite a bit this season. Both still young and very good players at South level. Sometimes going with players you know is better than guessing.

Jesus Paxman NOOOO, it's like Ben Greenhalgh all over again how many times are we going to sign a player before our fans realise that he is not at the level that we need, he was loaned out by Ebbsfleet as he is NOT good enough, headless five a side player with no idea how to read a game of football. Did see one of our fans on social media who has been saying that we should be in the football league and then championing us signing Paxman, well you can have one or the other as they ain't ever gonna happen at the same time.

Doesnt fit George's recruitment plan that insists on fitness as a must. He wont take the risk with Finney and hes right not to imo. Paxman just doesnt tick enough boxes either.

In Paxman's last spell with the club he showed buckets full of skill and not an ounce of footballing brain. Exactly the same player when he left as when he started, and from what I heard, nothing really changed at Ebbsfleet. So much wasted potential.

Same people who moan about performances / results / boo the team, but sing Alabi's name

With Sam signing, Shonibare is the one I'd love to now see confirmed for next season.
