Even Erith & Belvedere are going to have some full time players in their squad next season in the Ishmian League (South East). Ishmian League part timers can easily earn over £200 a week these days. Exceptionally they can earn £400+. Players follow the money.

With the relegation confirmed today, we might as well start looking forward to next season in the National South (sigh). Will update and adapt as players are chopped, changed and retained over the next few months. Slim pickings to start with... Confirmed for next season:Sam Bone Sol Wanjau-Smith Moving on:Joan Luque Josh Shonibare UnconfirmedBivesh Gurung Dom Odusanya Gavin Hoyte Harley Earle Henry Woods Jerome Binnom-Williams James Alabi Jack Cawley Mark Marshall Nathan Jeche Perri Iandolo Raphe Brown Regan Booty Reiss Greenidge Roarie Deacon Sam Corne Tom Hadler Tushuan Walters Yusuf Mersin Updated to reflect Shonibare moving on, Sam signing on and I've added an 'unconfirmed' list for those we have no info on at the moment.

Yes, I think there was a period when we first got promoted to the Isthmian Premier when PBB totally lost the plot and started bringing in players like Ian Selley, paying them money we couldn't afford. It took a few more seasons to collapse but that was the beginning of the end of his time at the club. I suppose looking back he perhaps thought if we put together a really good side with a couple of well-known faces, hundreds more people would turn up to watch which in turn would get that money back but it didn't happen. It will be fascinating to see who George wants to keep as it's not easy to determine whether a player who has looked distinctly average this season, might look like a superstar in the NLS. Having a good clear-out might not be the best option. I'd look to keep players like Deacon and Corne if possible and of course, Booty but I don't think he will stay unfortunately.

I went through the list and I think there's 7 or 8 I'd like to keep (including Booty and Greenidge, but they almost certainly won't stay). Keeping a core and adding some decent players to it is the ideal, but I guess that's what we tried to do this season, so God knows...

That list is quite sobering - there's a huge amount of work to do to get a squad that is competitive in the NLS even if we re-signed just some of these.

Any of the first team regulars still present from last season should be good enough for being back there next season. Unfortunately, the likes of Joe Ellul, Joan Luque and Jack Barham have left gaping holes in both attack and defence. If Booty leaves, we have very little quality in midfield too...

I think you'll find we have had gaping holes in defence all season.

I believe Wanjau-Smith is on a two-year contract anyway, so it's only actually Bone who's been given an offer and accepted.
George has got a hell of a job on his hands over the summer.

The season hasn't even ended and we've only signed two for next season, how are we gonna survive?
