We have some very odd supporters Are you new around here? All the talk about Zouma. At this stage, everyone playing in the first team is being given a chance to play for a contract next season. Same with Hadler and Mersin. Although that debate has become so toxic, I’d bring in an older experienced keeper not prone to injury.

Heard the Wrexham first choice keeper is a bit older with bags of experience...

With Sam signing, Shonibare is the one I'd love to now see confirmed for next season. talk at the ground is that he's agreed a deal for next year

Probably more to do with playing at a higher level than wages.

One of only a few players this season who looked good enough for this level, so it's no surprise that he's leaving.
Hes clearly already had an offer from another club at this level.

Best of luck to him. No point dropping down a level if there’s a club who can help his career.

I hold no bitterness against players trying to have the best career they can. Why should they be loyal to a club who might drop them and not offer a contract when the season is over? Football is a brutal bloody business, and there’s no prima Donna millionaires at this level.

Unfortunately I am one of those people that do not believe that non league players should be earning a living through football at all. At this level and below they should all be part time and paid expenses only. These players are the reason why it costs an average of £20 to watch a game at this level🤬

The fault is with the clubs like Ebbsfleet and Notts and Wrexham paying ever higher wages. Ban that and make it a condition of league membership that no club can run at a loss and you’ll be on the way to solving the problem. Southend should be relegated now for financial incompetence. Not two years down the line when they go bust owing money to staff and local businesses.

When NLS went full Time non league football was not better for it
