Wanjau Smith has spent pretty much the whole season injured, if anything we should be trying to offload him.
Like said above, from what I saw, Shonibare was a lot better player.

I've not seen a lot to suggest he's worth keeping tbh Shonibare was twice the player I'll take your word for it as a virtual absentee this season I have no real say on the subject. He made 12 appearances - penalty against Barnet aside he’s never looked like scoring, or even getting into positions to do so In the same side Shonibare did both in fewer games Sol has a bit of pace but I’ve seen very little else

Was recruited as a winger.

Interesting comparison could eventually be made with Burnley who appointed the 'novice' Vincent Kompany as manager who rebuilt their entire side and got them promoted as champions. George may have to do the same, but with far fewer resources.

Burnley had the benefit of the Premier League parachute payment.

We will likely have a comparable budget advantage over the teams jn this league

The season hasn't even ended and we've only signed two for next season, how are we gonna survive? George's master plan: only sign 2 players and come out of retirement. Play a 1x1x1 formation and confuse the opponents. Genius.

Hady Ghandour has signed for Aldershot Very strange signing. Aldershot will be getting relegated next season if that's the type of player they are looking at.

I guess all clubs at this level throw a few darts and some hit. The classic “if he can stay fit….” Comment very much apt here.

I understand the need to rebuild, but I don't believe ripping out the core of the squad that won the league last year is the right way
can't help feeling we have another painful 12 months ahead

Shame as he would have been able to cope with the NLS. See what GE says but I am sure he was offered a deal.
