Not only was that an abysmal performance by the team but also by the management. I saw the grey haired maidstone official chap in the black track suit who puts out the balls and sets the practice areas up squaring up to a maidstone fan outside the ground after the match. Disgraceful exhibition, if he cannot stand criticism then go hide in the changing rooms!! Or listen to us, your side was shit again!!!

Another abysmal performance and I've just heard John Still on BBC Kent say that he is pleased that we are competing now ! ... We were awful again and next season is nothing to get carried away as if we have a new team with different players , it won't guarentee us success !!. The only abysmal performance today was from the officials. We were the better side for most of the game, and Henry barely had a save to make. Ebbsfleet were just better at cheating and the ref not only let them get away with it but actively helped them. Just about the most biased performance from the officials I've ever seen.

We were the better side for most of the game and but for Ashmore (who despite being a horrible cheating c**t is a great keeper) we would have won.

Sorry, but if we were really the better side, we would have scored at least a couple of goals and not let in the two soft ones we did. Ebbsfleet, with significant help from the ref, did just enough, but then it's been like that all season. We are not good enough, however much effort we make

Football includes scoring goals to win games. Some people on this forum think you can be the better side by knocking the ball about and losing every week.

Not sure the ref was THAT poor,, but the lino on the main stand was blind, missing 2 blatant balls out of play, one which led to a goal chance for you. Scrappy, scruffy game, but we will take that anytime. Our 1st goal was sublime, how anyone can call it soft is just plain dull in the head. Watch it on the video replay and just enjoy the rare bit of quality in the game, apart from some stunning saves from Ashmore. HE IS a bit marmite , but he is a remarkably fine shot stopper, probably the best in the league. If he improved his distribution he would be several leagues higher. Unlike a few, I shall miss the derbies, good atmosphere and good revenue. Wasn't too fussed about being bombarded by filled water bottles either, and the stewards stood and laughed.

So why were Gravesend customers allowed to stand on the yellow hatched area and Stones fans not?? It is either safe or unsafe...it cannot be unsafe behind one side of the goal only.
Re the game..we played ok. Huffed and puffed but like most games the opposition just had more quality.

Ashmore may be a great keeper but Christ he needs to cut out the timewasting. He was at it even before you scored. Is it any wonder opposition fans detest him.

Game was typical of our season lack of quality at both ends of the pitch its high time you took off the amber tinted glasses

Well I saw two mistakes at the back and three blinding saves from Ashmore at the other end, so you can think what you like, but I saw a decent entertaining game of football where we outplayed Ebbsfleet for all but the last 20 minutes of the first half, so I'll take my objective view over your stones hating one any time

But if he hasn't handled the ball, it is in open play and the strikers are free to attempt to retrieve it. I have called him out for his time wasting and other antics on our forum, but it isn't actually time wasting until he picks the ball up!

Re the game..we played ok. Huffed and puffed but like most games the opposition just had more quality. Because our segregated area in the stand was dangerously overcrowded, to the extent the police and the stewards could have reasonably got into serious trouble with the FA and the HSE if things got worse. There are capacities put in place for a good reason, I would be very surprised if the stand wasn't overcrowded.
