I will be there but alas I didn't see enough improvement at the Gills game to be confident of a win and so I am going for a hard fought 1-1 draw in front of 2309. Depends on who is in goal - as if its Henry, as well as he did with the penalties, you have to factor in he'll let in at least one maybe two in the 90 minutes, making the real question - can we score more than one goal against Gravesend and Northfleet, which may be difficult as Ashmore, like him or not, is quality.
If its Lewington, and WDH only has one defensive lapse, then 1-1 or even a sneaky 2-1 win may be possible if Powell comes alive to stick one over his former team or not or if young Embery does his magic.
My realistic head without amber glasses based on this seasons usual fayre says that after going behind to the usual defensive asleep moment, equalising to roars all around JWW, only to have all hopes dashed two minutes later with a Kedwell goal hanger special followed by the usual poor refereeing stopping us getting back into the game as the Fleet fall over at the slightest touch which then sees them wrap it up with a 75th minute screamer that's unstoppable followed by fifteen minutes of our best football of the game all too late. We need to sell Amber glasses at the turnstiles. Could be quite a money spinner!

Yeah and the way this season has gone we would have 2000 people wearing Amber tinted glasses and play in purple cos they've lost the home kit.

I wonder what the Purple kit would look like through Amber glasses? Probably a lot better than the Purple kit looks like without them. Hope our new kit for next year to rip another £40.00 from the fanbase gets us away from dodgy flowery colours back to more mainstream colours......a white away strip would be good, surely?
Here's one - why don't we dig out the kit we wore for the NLS play off for Saturdays game to try and traumatise the Fleet of the memory of that defeat?
I know, my straws are very firmly clutched in my hands with that one.

Hi Chaps I think this game will be close, obviously on current form Fleet should just about edge it. Derby games are such fun for the fans, they are like no other, both sets of fans want to win so badly, and form goes out the window. I'll make my mind up Saturday morning if I'm going to go or not. Finally, lets hope it's a great game for all the right reasons, and all the fans behave themselves.

You often see people on here talking about being happy just ticking along in the same league year after year. It's bullshit.. everyone wants promotion otherwise what's the point of going along every Saturday. if you go up and come down again fair enough. I am sure Macclesfield will have enjoyed this season in L2 even if they go straight back down. As will Huddersfield in the Premier.. Or we could become a Tonbridge and just stay in the same league for 20 years...?
Are you predicting the future for Tonbridge? Or just not referring to the last 20 years?
Tonbridge got relegated at the end of the 2013/4 season

Yes they did... i was just making the point that if you want to follow a team with no real ambition then Angels are ideal. We've been up to the FL and down to KCL 4 while Tonbridge have basically stood still.

Just Been talking to a vice president of Tonbridge Angels fc and he says there is money coming into the club from outside investors and the club has a five year plan to reach the National league. As soon as I heard the immortal words " five year plan" I began to laugh my bollocks off as anybody who knows anything about football knows a 5 year plan is the death knell of any club,so bye bye Tonbridge!🤣

Team for tomorrow (Maybe) Henry Meredith WDH Swaine Wishart Davies Walton Amaluzor. Powell Turgott Romain. Donellan at RB I would have thought. Can't see both Davies & Walton being selected in midfield as they are both defensive midfielders, Phillips in place of one of these. If Swaine isn't fit (as usual) then either Davies or Walton will need to play at CB.

Nothing against Henry but if Lewington is to be our keeper in NLS it makes sense for him to play from now on. Henry won't be here next season.

Hopefully we can manage at least a draw but just cannot abide to lose against this lot, can imagine it now that useless lump of lard A.K.A. Kedwell sneaks up in extra time an scores a winner.
