returning to the comments about getting EFL status, whilst you need income from so many sources -including all important 'Gate money ,don't forget that you get about £900k to start with-about £450k from the EFL for being a 'member', and then about the same in TV money . the check a trade trophy (low key competition) you get at least £10k for every win (in a mini league of 3 where many play reserves ) and then i think its either another 10k or even 20K for winning the mini league and going to the next round for even more dosh there is some serious money around in EFL these days-just for being there !! There are also some seriously wealthy owners. www.bristolpost.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/efl-owners-net-worth-richest-2024729.ampGone are the days of football clubs being owned by car dealers and local butchers. Is Stones were owned by butcher we'd have given some players the chop much faster

I made a post about the price not being agreed prior to the 'new member' stating the price had been agreed, so I presume whoever that 'new member' is, they are definitely in the know!

I think the phrase "agreement has been reached" implies that they have agreed terms in addition to agreeing in principle to sell the land. Hope it's true, but even so, a long way to go to raise the necessary funds to start building.

We would definitely raised the money needed to fund the new stand !!. By the way , it's said in jest ... Before the Russian , Chinese and whoever else he wants to be , butts in !! 🤣🤣🤣

So, to summarise, nobody knows about the stand or the land.

Hope it's true, but even so, a long way to go to raise the necessary funds to start building. The council and club have agreed a price for the land. I did not ask how much but it was considerably less than the council were originally asking as they took into account that the club is a community asset although also a private company.
