So a “must win” Saturday. I can’t go, however thoughts on result..?
I would like to see a shake up of the team. Assuming all fit I would start with;
3-5-2 Worgan
De Havailand, Wynter, Finney
Wraight, Twamasi “wing backs”
Phillips, Paxman, Lewis
Coker, Luer
If no De Havailand not fit then Hare in the back three. Please no Reason, DSY, Loza or Turgott

A win for us would pretty much send Guiseley down, so would expect them to throw the proverbial at us. Agree with 3-5-2, bit not sure about Wraight out wide, as would prefer to see his heading ability in a more central position. Hence Hare or Anderson as the other wing back and maybe try Wraight up front. Either way, no place for Turgott, Loza or Sam-Yorke in my team, but I ain't the manager.

and yet Jay didn't even fancy either Wraight or Paxman on the subs bench for Friday but tend to agree with the choices of pieman/61666 seems harsh but Turgott, Loza, Reason and Sam Yorke have had plenty of chances time to look at other options for the run in of matches

Guiseley are not the crap team their league position would suggest, and as 61666 says, they will be fighting for their lives. What can possibly go wrong?
On recent form, I think a neutral would call a home win, or at best a draw. I think we may have to find those elusive 'few more points to see us safe' somewhere else.
As for who plays and where, I'm just glad I'm not Jay! We have a pretty decent squad at the moment and good players in nearly all positions, the problem for Jay is somehow turning that paper advantage into a team that can actually win games. And his biggest problem at the moment must be getting the players to actually believe in themselves and know that they can win.
If he can do that, three points in the bag and another season in the NL. If he can't, squeaky bum time continues...

The biggest dilemma facing Jay in the next few games is trying to motivate a squad to win games and then having to show them same players the door at the end of the month. All the players who’ve seriously underperformed this season and will be let go are probably already known to him and more importantly the players themselves expect this anyway.

Still, at least those of us who feared a boring end to the season a few months ago, will be 'happy'!

I’m hoping Jay has not let on to anyone yet about being shown the door! It’s obvious to many of us who will go, but Jay continues to start games with those very players! Hopefully they are all clueless as to their fate and will therefor play for the shirt and possible new contracts. As I’ve said before no one is likely to move anywhere but down in the leagues should they leave us in the summer.

Lets hope that its 4th time lucky, as yet we have never beaten Guiseley.. In fact our record against the so called poor teams is why we are where we are

I wouldn't be too sure of that last bit, I reckon there's quite a few of those who could do a lot better in a different team or under a different manager, or just in a different season, and may come back to haunt us. It's not as if it's never happened before!

I'm going. My last Maidstone away game was the 4-4 at Woking so I'm hoping for the same amount of entertainment allied to a convincing away win.
I'm not optimistic enough to predict a clean sheet in there as well.

Lewis has played like a dog chasing a balloon for the last few weeks - I'd start Reason over him

Interesting. That may be a wind up to antagonise the Reason haters, but it's not without logic. When Lewis was suspended, we thought we'd be fine once he returned. But we weren't.
