Can Beckwith use his one game ban in the Kent Senior Cup on Tuesday or has he got to miss the Barrow game? Jay usually uses the KSC to get players over a one match ban. After all, it was a full first team he put out against Gillingham, and I hope he'll do the same on Tuesday. How can he "use" a game like this? The ban applies to the next competitive game, whatever competition it is. What does Jay do - put him on the team sheet, and then cross him off?!

Haha, a little, but mainly tired of ppl thinking they know what's happening with the players, then Jays interview clearly proves you wrong, lovely 😊 Chill out guys! All I did was ask you who live nearer and know more a question. Very happy that Jay provided the answer.

What a relief to get a draw! Beckwith had number 4, Prestedge's number, who didn't feature today, should I add 2 and 2 and make the conclusion that P is leaving? Presumably, the red card means he can't play Tue? Don't remember what number he wore but the match report has him as 28.

People forget that the two Sutton loanees are only here until the 10th March 2018. That is 7 matches!! Will go a long way to confirming our status in this division. Surprised Sutton let us have them at all to be honest. Especially as they are going for promotion!

i.e. can't be used to serve a suspension From The FA's website:Rules & Regulations Of The Association - Season 2017-2018 [browser version]FA On-Field Disciplinary Procedures 2017-2018 [pdf]p357 On-field Disciplinary Procedures Part 1 First Team Competitive Matches (FTCM) [but excl EFL Trophy]: For players & officials of Clubs of the Prem Lge, EFL, Nat Lge & FA WSL Note: FTCM are matched in the following competitions: FAC, FAT, Prem Lge, EFL, EFL Cup, Nat Lge & FA WSL 8 Punishments - Relating To First Team Competitive Matches p367 8(b) Players Sent Off Under Law 12 (7) Subject to para 8(a) (vii) above [suspensions from cumulative cautions], a Player who is dismissed from the field for receiving a 2nd caution in the same match will be suspended automatically from FTCM forthwith until his Club's First Team has completed its next FTCM [Part 4 deals with Clubs at Steps 2-4, Part 5 for Clubs at Steps 5-7. Both includes Lge Cup & Cups of nominated County FA as FTCMs]

Funny how the NL is conveniently regarded as outside the top leagues (i.e. as step 1 n the 'National' (= non-league) system, when it suits then, but part of the top 5 leagues when it suits them otherwise. If we are to be treated the same as the PL and the EFL on a matter as important as this, then the FA should recognise the reality that we are part of the National league system - effectively Div 5/L3 - and stop treating us as part-time non-leaguers.

So what's the verdict -same old, or turned a corner? Mix of the two. Same old defensive errors, getting beyond a joke now, but with Turgott around things are going to be exciting for the rest of the year. BTW, how crap was standing on the open terrace @ Hayes Lane ? Take away the cages & some seats at one end & you could be time warped back 15 years watching Kent League action.....

A good battling performance with some reasons for hope up front. Coker, turgott and Ross look a step up from what we had. Another howler from worgan and several other poor bits of decision making from him. It was fascinating to see Lewis's anger with him when he came miles out of goal to give no choice but to let the ball run out of play for a throw in. Surely this is the position most in need of an upgrade?
