I didn't hear ANY moaning tonight, just a lot of resigned sighing and muttered swearing. Mostly people were just quiet and shell-shocked.
And not a lot even left early from our end - no more than usual. No mass exodus until the extra 3 minutes was announced. That was just taking the piss.
As for the EE, sure they made a lot of noise after we went 4 down, but what's the point of that? In the first half they were outsung by 40-odd BH fans and, at one point, even the main stand!

Yes there are moaners in the main stand but nowhere near as many as the oh so superior EE inhabitants try to make out. Also, as has been pointed out, and it used to be true of the town end as well, all the atmosphere is generated by about 50 people who congregate mainly at the back directly behind the goal, and whatever the claim, yesterday they didn't wake up until well into the second half. And when moaning about the lack of chanting from the main stand, you also need to consider the demographic. The majority of us are getting on a bit, and chanting is by and large a young man's game. There was noise from the main stand yesterday, in the form of rhythmic clapping in time with the chants from the EE. Some people just have a massive downer on those of us who prefer to sit down to watch football. Sitting on the main stand Dave, can you hear the drum and EE changing at 0-3 but moaning in the main stand? I can There was some moaning, but it was from a minority. As for the EE, it's a shame they wait til we're 3-0 down before waking up. Time for you to stop whining about supporters and get behind the team for a change.

The EE made noise at the start and periodically in the first half. They started making a lot of noise just prior to going 3-0 down. They kept this up for most of the rest of the second half. The main stand made no noise. The TE had a couple of 'Come on You Stones' chants. The main stand was pretty much empty by FT. The EE had half emptied.

The problem with the main stand, senna, is that it contains a lot of people who are past chanting age plus a lot of people who are not that bothered that much so wouldn't chant anyway. It's shown by the fact that having shown their richness by occupying the dearer part of the ground they then cannot be bothered to lug their Jag/Daimler/Mercedes further away than Dover or Ebbsfleet. Fair comment Adrian so perhaps they can belt up instead of moaning. Nice play on words. I don't think there was moaning tonight. There was nothing other than a ludicrous overreaction to a throw or something.

There always is some moaning and it's all from a small minority with loud voices but come of it daveu, give the EE fans a break, once again they did the team proud ! They were ok at the start for about 5 minutes, managed about 30 seconds of black and amber army after the first goal, and finally arose from their stupor once we were 3-0 down. But if course no one's allowed to criticize any section other than the main stand. To be honest, the whining about other supporters after every home game is wearing a bit thin. Some people are more interested in criticising the main stand than supporting the team.

The EE had just a little sing before the game and there were little sporadic outbursts in the second half. Ironically they started up a big chant at 0-2 and we, almost immediately, went 0-3 down.
