Chester won last night but have struggled on the road with 1 point from last 4 games, hoping we'll put our home struggles behind us, going 3-1 with 2450 in attendance.

I won't commit myself on the score but a win by any margin will do !! I will say 2449 instead of 2450 as my mate will still be away in The Philippines !!.πππ

3 points please, however they come. A gate over 2617 would move us up a place to 7th in the attendance table, overtaking Hereford

Chester might have turned the corner.
So 1-1 or 0-0.
Attendence: 2567

4-0 up at half time again tomorrow, just like last season?

Because having higher average home attendances than some team in a lower league is more important than three points towards safety or promotion.

Because having higher average home attendances than some team in a lower league is more important than three points towards safety or promotion. Only have to look on the vanarama national league banter page to see how important attendances are to some people. Mind you that page makes this place look like a model of decorum and civility.

So, Chester got what they deserved. A piss poor side who only stayed in the game because of one of the most inept referees seen at the Gallagher since Ryman days. No surprise he completely lost control midway through the second half and how Chester finished with 11 men is anyone's guess. Stones light years ahead, but dragged down to Chester's level at times. Still, as before this season, we play to the last minute and Hines deserved his winner. Lewis, Twumasi and Hines worked hard throughout and once again the back four seemed rarely in trouble. Loza disappointing when he came on and looked well off the pace. Three points against a stubborn team not interested in playing football a good result, even if it was a bit late.

Finney scored the winner. Unfortunate to get a yellow as well, case of mistaken identity.

but what about the other 96 minutes ? Finney was simply outstanding today, surely nailed on for mom ! still a good all round team performance, just lacking sharpness in and around the box (apart from Hines who caused Chester problems all over the pitch)

Left it very late but a welcome 3 points that has propelled us to the dizzy height of 5th up the table !! ... With a game in hand as well.
