I couldn't understand a word they said or them us. Just think of the Capital Projects that can be achieved, given the Bounty George has gifted the Club from all this. To put things into perspective, av Mainstand season ticket @300 and there's 750 seats. This competition has smashed that sums...We should see some goodies, thats for sure! Unbelievable, I know some on here put bets on for us to win- I applaud you all, Spend your winnings recklessly- you deserve it! |

I hurt in places I didn't know you could hurt in - I was kicking every ball of that game.
Absolutely unbelievable game. Until the last 15 minutes or so, Corne was my MotM, but Covolan was beyond incredible at the end. He kept us in the game at the beginning and at the end.
But it wasn't just a 'typical' lower league defensive game, we thoroughly deserved that win, our goals were both superb.
We are now in the 5th round draw. Anyone ever think they'd be able to write that?!

A privilege to just watch on TV. Those of you lucky enough to be there in person are now part of club history.
How we survived the first ten minutes is anyone's guess, but we did and gradually grew into the game. Covolan rightly will take the plaudits, but everyone played their part and what a remarkable decision by George to bring on the two youngsters near the end - and didn't they do well too?
When they equalised, I thought oh well, it was good while it lasted. But then we scored again! What's more, it was all part of the Team George master plan. Hope those of you at the game have recorded the whole match, because the scenes after the game are just as good, with George just magnificent.

There were, unfortunately, quite a few idiots in the crowd. When we scored the second, one of the youngsters behind us fell on my back or pushed me (impossible to tell which) and I nearly fell over the seat in front. It's quite a steep stand, with very little room between seats and everyone had to stand to see the game, so I'm surprised there weren't more incidents like that.
That 'roof' isn't quite as high as it looks in the video, so the guy who fell might have got away with minor injuries - but not the poor sod he fell on top of. Impossible to see exactly what happens and why in the video, but it's noticeable that the stewards were concentrated in that area. Was that because they could see trouble brewing, or because it's a known safety problem? It certainly shouldn't be possible to accidentally fall from a stand like that.
