Let’s say 45% of 25,000 x average £20 = £225,000 gate receipts. You can say it if you like but way optimistic attendance estimate, specially with live tv. Firstly Ipswich may average 28,000 which is amazing but an FA cup tie will not attract the interest of a league match versus League opponents for Ipswich fans.. Secondly, Stones have not got the pulling power of Arsenal or Liverpool. Thirdly, people can stay at home in the warm and watch it for nothing. I think 16,000 - 18,000 is a more realistic expectation, with maybe 3,000-4,000 away supporters. Anybody more is a bonus. Gate receipts for Stones to be much nearer £140,000 imo. No need to exaggerate, anything like 140k is still brilliant. The icing in the cake comes with the additional £110k TV money. So £250k for a single match. Very happy days

I think that we would get 55% of net ticket sales as we are not in the Premier League or EFL and are playing a club in either the Premier League or EFL. The calculation of ticket sales is net of VAT and the away club's travel and accommodation costs, and fees and costs of the match officials. The big variables would be the actual gate numbers including the prices set. A welcome sum any way!

Or if it’s a draw. Imagine the scramble for tickets.

Ipswich fans calling for £10 a ticket entrance in a bid to entice the home crowd to turn up for a game against a bunch of nobodies. I think both clubs would have to agree but i think this shows that it will be far from a full house. I have predicted 15-18,000 but may lower this 12-15,000. Still a good payday, outside chance of a draw and TV replay could take us up to close on £500,000.

Great news to be on TV and the combination of 3rd and 4th rounds makes for that big pay we were hoping for before Stevenage came out of the hat. Meanwhile the attention that TV coverage will bring could be even more important, long term, than the recent Dosh - welcome though that is. Hopefully, Oliver, Terry, Bill and George can get the message across about how pragmatic and well run the club has been, as a business and thereby attract sensible investors to develop our medium term future. The town and even county council ought to be thinking about it too. Maidstone is far from perfect and any investment has to be a good thing.

It's only Ipswich, you can possibly win this, I'd be happy if it was Fleet. Save the next round for one of the big guns. Enjoy your day, they don't come round very often. As I was saying.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Well done Stones, now for Man City.
