Waiting for the fans who went to let us know how shit we were and how we played long ball after long ball in to the channel to produce maybe 1 or 2 chances in the 90mins

Best defence in league but worst attack.

Two goals in four games, both from defenders, doesn't paint a pretty picture. However my original home town team are currently 4th in the Premier League after winning at Southampton. Doubt it will stay that way though...

First game this season I've missed, but, by the sound of it, I didn't miss too much...

Listened. Sounded like we shaded it, certainly the second half.
Sounds like a similar start to last season and what happened throughout most of the season where we shade a lot of games and never really comfortably control a game. We shade games and had the strikers to get the points, in Faal and Levi. Hopefully we can starrt to score scrappy goals again.
Solid base to start with. When we start to score goals, we will climb the table

In fairness, it was a decent performance today with another really sound defensive display. Easily the better team in the second half but finding it hard to create and take chances. Midfield was ok. Need to bulge the onion bag a lot more and when that happens we will climb the table.

Best defence in league but worst attack. Joint best defence in the league (with Welling - 9th), joint worst attack (with Bath - 19th and Weymouth - 24th) Don't know that it makes much difference, but at least it's accurate.

Big George says it will come right up front and the goals will come so in George we trust.

Score draws are better than goaless draws. So yeah, I would take a 4.4 over a 0.0 every day of the week.

Highlights show that the combined number of saves made by both keepers was... ... one! Their keeper, late in the game. Four tight games so far this season, all very much lacking in open play. It would make a real difference if we could score early, especially at home. Visiting team might then come out and play a bit more.
