Swordy memory : On this day 18 years ago I suffered a fractured left cheekbone after I was dragged into a fight in the Coal Hole pub on the Strand London. I managed to get out of the pub and disappear into the crowds in Covent Garden before the police arrived I then got the last train back to Maidstone from London Victoria with 300 pissed up Arsenal fans who kept me supplied with beer for the one hour journey. Happy days 😁

Do i care? Of course i do,i don't like losing,nobody does but since Covid the football world has changed,teams no longer give up,added time is now ridiculous and the less said about VAR the better . I still have around 7 weeks of the battle to go and i will not give in,never. I may lose but I'm still over £13,000 up over 20+years. I need to think ,i need to adapt and I need to alter my strategy. All of these things i will do,maybe too late for this season but next year I will slaughter the Bookies. Stay tuned.😁

Right I lost £3 but i probably would not have watched the PSG v Barcelona thriller without there being money on it. Although it does not count i won £80 on a charity raffle for a £5 outlay,i donated £40 back to the charity and pocketed the rest that will pay for a few weekend bevvies. I will have a pop on the National Saturday and that will count in my battle where the score stands Swordy £0 v Bookies £7. |

I consider myself to be a realist not a pessimist and in the real world i know that betting is a mugs game as this year is proving but in what i consider to be an appalling season i still only trail by £7 and with just a little more luck i would be quids in. My aim now is to just win the game and in the last 7 weeks if i can end up by just £1 it will be a victory. |
