And for the first time this season the Swordyman gets a winner to the tune of £126.46.What an absolute roller coaster of an evening especially at Chesterfield and then having to endure 10 mins of added time until the ref blew at Preston,who says football isn't exciting.And so casting the 46p into the pennypot the score now stands at a more respectable Swordy £0 v Bookies £4. Wednesday I came back down to Earth with a bump and 2 losses but that was only to be expected.Just waiting now to have an xray to see if I've broken my left wrist but my gut feeling is I haven't but it's bloody painful either way. Scores on the doors Swordy £0 v Bookies £14.

Swelling beginning to go down,should be fine in a week or so. |

Swelling beginning to go down,should be fine in a week or so. Sorry to hear that. I have much the same problem, as I can't use my left arm very well (I had to have the upper bone replaced and the muscles didn't re-attach), so, if I trip or slip (which I do more so these days), I can't stop the fall very well - which often ends up with me spraining or bruising other bits of me. My worst such experience was slipping getting out of the bath and not being able to stop the fall - in fact making it a lot worse by trying to with my wonky arm. I ended up straining something in my right shoulder or upper arm, which still gives me problems years later. Fun, isn't it? |
