Interesting tie today between Chatham who are second in the Isthmian Premier at Dulwich Hamlet who have had a poor start and are 15th with just four points and an average home attendance down to 1739.

More to the point, is it waterproof? Our pitch absorbs torrential rain. If it is the preferred decoration of Kent non league refreshment kiosks, how do they stay watertight?

A brilliant 5-2 win for Chatham who have a 100% record after 5 games.As for Dulwich they must be very close to giving Hak the sack.

Today I saw a piss poor Chatham side get well snd truly thumped 5-1 by lower league Ramsgate in tge FA Cup. 1230 people gathered to watch as the Chats were humbled and embarrassed by a good looking Rams outfit who defended well and were clinical in their finishing. The tackles were flying in from both sides aided and abetted by a ref who didn't care who also should have sent a couple off for a punch up.

Old foes from the wilderness years Sporting Bengal FC who are back in the Essex Senior League are currently riding high at 4th in the table. Could they do the unthinkable and get into the Isthmian league?

Jack Lyons made history in the FA youth Cup for Rusthall Town FC v Chatham when he scored with just 4 seconds on the clock,hopefully his dad will be proud enough to get me a beer on Saturday night.

Enfield fc could become the 2nd Isthmian league 1 North club to fold following the death of a major director who was killed when hit by a train(suicide?). His death has left the club in financial trouble and no wages have been paid this month
