The grant is to replace their existing grass pitch which is prone to being unplayable during the winter. This grant is only part of the total cost which presumably includes remedial owrk on drainage, the land was formwerly water meadows. Then it will be a Community asset. You'd think the term 'water meadows' might have been a bit of a clue...

Sudbury don't have an existing grass pitch. (Unless they have a field with several other pitches outside the main stadium.) They were clearly playing at home on 3G three days ago, as can be seen in the pictures in this match report: www.afcsudbury.co.uk/teams/104274/match-centre/1-15628786/report?utm_campaign=match_report&utm_medium=post&utm_source=twitter

They currently have two pitches, one 3G installed several years ago and the adjoining grass pitch. The grant seems to be to replace the existing grass pitch.

Mark Robins has his contract terminated by Coventry. Presumably after beating Maidstone, the fame slowly got to his head.

Some of those figures are astonishing for non league football. The game has gone money mad.🤬

Our budget was 750-800k when we finished bottom of the National League.
I remember an interview from Oliver when we won the National South, he said our budget that season was over 500k, and we had one of the top budgets in the league.
Then a few months later the club released a statement saying our budget had increased by 50% for the National League.

Funny how the fates diverge. We are mid table as are Dartford in the Isthmian Premier.
Their average attendance 950 versus our 2139.
We both drew away last night; us against tricky ex-EFL Torquay, Dartford at struggling Hashtag United.
When you hear people moaning about this or that, things could be a whole lot worse.

Northern league club West Allotment Celtic are on the verge of folding. They need immediate financial investment or it is all over.😪

Don't. Go. There. We are wallowing in despair. Don't know which was more embarassing Gaz, your result or ours. I guess you trump ours as you were at home. Feel for your despair.

6 conceded in 45 minutes. New loanee lasted 20mins before red card and misses remainder of loan ( nice work if you can get it), Tanner brought on as sub and was so atrocious he was subbed himself 12 mins later.
