It had become inevitable but hopefully will re-emerge at a much lower level in future years.😪😪😪

My Northeast contact tells me that Durham City have been refused permission to sign Nokai Laprahegadenguma. What a shame I bet tannoy operator's are breathing a sigh of relief. 😁

Very strange decision bearing in mind they are still in the FA cup and have a good chance of getting to the next round (they have Gainsborough at home). Maybe something to do with his man-management skills

Blyth Spartans have been taken over by a consortium of local businessmen who now begin the job of rebuilding the club to get it back to the NLN where they belong.

I read today that AFC Sudbury have been granted £1.1million to lay an artificial pitch.Has the price of instalment gone through the roof? I thought £4-500,000 was the price of the initial laying of a pitch.

Wythenshawe Town fc have been suspended by the Northern Premier league West division for breaking the financial fair play rules by refusing to submit details of ongoing debts and payments to HMRC. The league say they had been given 11 weeks to comply and have failed to do so. The suspension became inevitable. The club denies all allegations.

The grant is to replace their existing grass pitch which is prone to being unplayable during the winter. This grant is only part of the total cost which presumably includes remedial owrk on drainage, the land was formwerly water meadows. Then it will be a Community asset.

Lordswood fc has parted company with Nicky Southall. The club statement talks about mutual consent (don't they always), but Lordswood have lost 6 on the bounce. Another ex Stone, Jason Lillis, is Director of Football at the club. Seems like a heavyweight management set up for SCEFL level.
