The rearranged game will be on Tuesday evening. So Reece Greenidge will still be able to serve his 1 match ban.

Well if rumours reaching Swordy towers are true a Tuesday rearrangement will give our underperforming players another 3 days to continue demanding a massive pay rise for the second half of the season. They are already on good money for half a weeks work now the greedy gits want more.

Real thinker that one. He realises we're a league above them, not in the prem, right? A team of a couple of people to not only clear the pitch, but the entire stadium and surrounding areas of snow and more importantly, ice? Sure. Having tried to clear the 'snow' from the path outside our house yesterday, I fully concur! Defeated me completely. There is still nothing on the OS about the game being postponed, but I would guess it's inevitable. And the weather's set to change dramaticaly Sunday, so all the snow and ice should be well gone by Tuesday evening. Plus, I have a STINKING cold!!! So probably won't be well enough tomorrow, anyway. I haven't been ill since before the pandemic - I'd forgotten what it feels like. It totally sucks!

I appreciate that Worthing is a coastal town, but wow they're a bit salty on that thread! Perhaps they are unaware of the problems of dealing with snow on a 3G pitch, and I can understand their disappointment, particularly with the rearranged game being on a weeknight. We'd probably feel the same about playing at that time instead. Perhaps they haven't got over that 2-0 replay win we had in the 2nd round of the FAT back in 1984 before we eventually went out to Enfield in the QF?

He still hasn’t explained where we’re supposed to put huge piles of snow cleared from the pitch. On the terraces? In the car park? And even if we had the resources to do it, would it really be worth it for a few hundred diehards? I’m all for forcing schools to open after a slight flurry, but just walked up my road tonight and it’s still like an ice rink on the pavement, and saw two cars skidding because they were going too fast to stop suddenly. It’s predicted to be -8 tonight.

Makes sense. The rubber crumb would be lifted with the snow, plus ours is near the end of its life so could be damaged. Also, I wonder, if the plastic “grass” strands are frozen solid, do they “snap” if you walk all over them scraping shovels?

I do remember us playing a midweek game down there with some vicious tackles flying in , a free for all and a couple sent off one for a head butt. Nasty game but can't remember the year.

3 feet of snow predicted for orchard Park new York. GAME ON Go bills!!! No one cares about the Bills! Especially us Dolphins fans - we’re too busy still dreaming of the realistic chance of the playoffs because our season hasn’t fizzled out by the end of October for a change 😁
