It has to said, though, that Mersin is very quiet. You knew if you had Hadler or Worgan behind you, but you could easily forget Mersin is there. (Although it's a good job he is - we'd have lost tonight without that reflex stop in the first half.)

Its still a bloody mystery to me why Hadler hasn't been our number 1 keeper for every match this season

In terms of shot stopping there is nothing to choose beyween the two, but in every other respect Tom Hadler is def the better keeper.

So you keep saying, but you're not the one who sees them both in training. I'm pretty sure Hak doesn't just pick Mersin on a whim. I think some people need to rein in the criticism of Mersin and let him get on with the job. How would you feel if people kept going on about how someone else could do your job better than you.

Crowd around me were very supportive of Mersin last night. Whose judgement should I back? The manager who took us up as champions and has got us to the top half of the National League? Or Rob from the forum? Tricky choice.

Yes..everyone i was around thought Mersin did well and deserves to be our current number one. I dont get the weird campaign against him by some supporters. Hak watches both keepers all week.

Personally I have more confidence in Tom Hadler as our keeper. More importantly, so do the team. So obvious

Mersin's distribution very iffy again last night. Time and time again. Just find the keeper conundrum reslly strange. So obvious Hadler is the better keeper by a country mile

Mersin has done as well as he possibly can this season. He has not let Stones down in any match. Great to have him as our back up keeper to Tom.

Will somebody tell me what Tom Hadler has done to be treated like somebody the club no longer wants.

Just seems strange to me that Hadler who proved hinself time and time again last season, can't get a kick this season. He deserves better.

Its not as if our goals against column is amazing good. Harder league for sure. Fact is we had the best defensive record in the league last season with Hadler as keeper. His distribution and communication has always been an asset. Obviously Hak rates Mersin as stronger of the 2 keepers. But why ? As a supporter I can only judge and compare the two from what I have seen in competitive matches.
