Yes..everyone i was around thought Mersin did well and deserves to be our current number one. I dont get the weird campaign against him by some supporters. Hak watches both keepers all week. I havn't spoken to any supporter who shares that opinion. Where do you hang-out at the Gallagher ? I was in the Town End where noone was desperate for Tom to start. In fact, they trust the manager who has got us to 12th place with three wins and two draws in 8 games. Personally i see no difference between our two keepers.

So frustrating...
"As a supporter I can only judge and compare the two from what I have seen in competitive matches"
Just accept that Hak sees the both of them week in week out and much more than just competitive matches. His job depends on decisions so he is not going to pick one goalie as he is mates with his Dad.
"So obvious Hadler is the better keeper by a country mile" - your opinion is as valid as anyone but so is Hak's.
"Will somebody tell me what Tom Hadler has done to be treated like somebody the club no longer wants"
There is one goalie in he team. He isn't being played at the moment. He will have his chance.
I don't see much between them. Hak will have his reasons. Tom would probably get an offer from somewhere soon enough if he is unhappy. NLS maybe. A Loan maybe

I'm in the Genco where opinions are different. Nobody is desperate and we all support Mersin. Woody is right though, we are bound to lose Tom Hadler sooner or later, there is no future in being a bench warmer.

Hak prefers Mersin this season and he is the manager. Supporters have questioned plenty about how our defence had lined up this season, without being told that Hak knows better and anyhow we have won 3 matches. Other players are promoted by supporters as being worth a look and given a chance to play, without their loyalty to the club being questioned. But apparently supporting Tom Hadler the 'rules' are different.

This debate is going to go on until Hadler is played and it is so boring. I would like to think Hak has spoken to him and his reasons for it. I'm sure if Tom felt any negative vibes he would have been off by now(?!). Let's not forget it isn't just Mersin that's let in (too many) goals this season, our defence is also to blame.
Just support the team as a whole, get out of Hadlers backside.

17 goals conceded in 8 matches and the 2nd worse defensive record in the League. Some supporters don't seem to have noticed that the emperor isn't wearing any clothes. Other see him in full regal attire. Reality or delusion, take your choice. But it's not about Hak.

Galvin is playing at left back, Hoyte at right, and Fowler back at Centre back and the defensive unit looks better.

Funny that, playing individuals in their best positions. Never thought I would see that happen.

I am a bit confused with this post. 17 goals in 8 games including two absolute shoeings where we let in 9 - that were down to team performance and not individuals. What do you mean, it is not about Hak?

Still think Joe Ellul is a top CB and a key player for us. Hope his injury will not keep him out for long.

If Mersin is the better keeper, does that mean Hak screwed us over last season and we could have won the league much earlier ? Hak played the wrong keeper last season ?
Jokes aside, can someone just ask Tom why he isn't playing?

There have been a few individual errors and poor performancesover the 8 matches that have contributed to the goals against tally. Add to that moving players around to 'cover' JBW has probably not helped imo. Last night was def better. Liked the new loan boy at LB and other defenders fitting into their best positions.

But apparently supporting Tom Hadler the 'rules' are different. I suppose the question is not about why you are supporting Hadler but why so many people are publicly not supporting Mersin? The unbalanced defence has been unavoidable and Hak looks to have sorted it. Let's see how the back 5 (including keeper) do now. As others have said, Tom will get his chance.. when he does, we will all support him as our number one.
