Think we'll lose 4-1. Although, this could be the game Sol finally makes his debut - would love to see him come on and at least give us a glimmer of hope for our upcoming games. Will he run around with a wedge of lime in his head? Didn't Baddiel and Skinner get into trouble about references to citrus fruits on players' heads?

As it's my birthday tomorrow then the recovery starts here with a closely fought 1-0 win for the Stones in front of 1948 delirious supporters. Hopefully Hak makes a couple of changes from Saturday's starting line-up.

As it's my birthday tomorrow then the recovery starts here with a closely fought 1-0 win for the Stones in front of 1948 delirious supporters. Hopefully Hak makes a couple of changes from Saturday's starting line-up. I sympathise with Hak when it comes to making changes, I really do. His pool has been greatly reduced due to injuries and then he's tried to mix it up to little effect. Pattison and Odusanya ride the bench, come on for 20 minutes and they look great - game changers perhaps if given a proper run? Brilliant! Starts them the next game and they're ineffective, bordering on absent. Hard to know what he does tomorrow but there may be a need to mix things up with 2 games in 4 days. With recent formations / performances, I wonder if he'll try a 3-5-2 / 5-3-2 of: Sandford Greenidge - Ellul - Mensah Deacon - Barkers - Booty - Corne - Galvin Barham - Alabi or Pattison Alternatively, swap a second striker out for an additional midfielder in Odusanya and really pack our box to try and stop conceding. Didn't really work vs Notts County, but Solihull are a different team so who knows.

My preference would be...
Sandford
Hoyte Ellul Greenidge Galvin
Booty Odusanya Corne(or Gurung if Corne unfit)
Fawole Barham Deacon

No Hoyte? Much as I like him, me neither. Before Saturday, would have brought in Ellul, making a tall back four, but Mensah looked all over the place, so maybe Hoyte stays? Presumably no point in changing the side too much, but I just wouldn't have Alabi even on the bench - for all his apparent size, he can't compete at NL level. So, Deacon on the left, Pattisson on the right and Barham in the middle, even though he will get no change from giant defenders if we pump in high balls. Midfield? Not Barkers, so Booty, Corne (hopefully) and Odusanya. Solihull went to Gateshead on Saturday and now us, so two long trips. Their last six away games are: Gateshead 1-1 Yeovil lost 1-0 Woking lost 2-0 Torquay won 4-1 Notts County lost 1-0 Scunthorpe won 4-3 Aldershot won 4-1
So, recent form not great and if Yeovil can beat them, so can we, though we have never done well against them in the past.

Sky Sports app says match postponed. Surely that's wrong ? Can't see anything elsewhere - nothing on either teams socials or any other apps?

Got to Tonbridge station to head over and a biblical storm happened which delayed my train, which in turn meant I couldn't get my connecting one. D'oh!
Listening on Stones Live. Sounds like the crowd is quite low? Definitely sounds like we're playing a bit better than recent weeks as well.

First half an absolute pleasure to watch. JBW back and on full form. Fingers crossed for more of the same in the second half. The stayaways are missing a treat.

As I predicted, carried on from the last 30 minutes on Saturday. So much more confidence and easily the better side throughout most of the first half. Moors upped the pace after the break but it was still pretty even and even at the end when they threw everything at us we kept our shape and defended as a team. Good to see Ellul back in central defense, and while I've been critical of Greenwich he looked the real deal tonight. JBW looked sharp and did what he does so well. Hope the substitution was only precautionary and he'll be back again for Eastleigh. Midfield was much more competitive and together with the defense looking solid I don't remember Sandford having a real save to make. The only thing missing was a goal. We still don't seem to have a poacher in the opposition penalty area. Still, I would have bitten your hand off if offered a draw at the start.
