Well time to get this thread rolling and having just seen the Gateshead highlights and the score predictions I can see nothing but heavy defeat in this game even though we are at home. Our only chance is to go all out for 20 minutes and score at least 2,if they score first then we'll be lucky to pass the halfway line. I don't like to be ultra-negative but those highlights I've just watched has chilled me to the bone,Solihull are far better than the team that ripped us apart up North. I cannot help think of the televised away game at Solihull a few years back when we were murdered 5-0,or 5-1 cannot remember the score. This will be my first game of the season I should be looking forward to it ,I am not. Hey look on the bright side, this is football, strange things happen all the time.COYS!

Very much hope over expectation. Last time we hosted Solihull at the G, seemed they were all on average six inches taller and two stone heavier, all of it muscle. Can't be there this time and at the moment, not bothered for once. However will be more than happy to be proved wrong - even if it just a draw. Indeed, 0-0 would be a very decent result after Gateshead.

1-2 with a proper backs to the wall, Dunkirk spirit, park the bus, win every tackle, no messing at the back, row z, battling performance with a late sting in the tail.

After Saturday's debacle confidence amongst supporters seems to have taken a hit. Not sure that a reality check in this case is a positive sign.

I have just looked at the pre match odds and we are generally 13/5 to win at home, that usually means away banker and yet Solihull are 12/11 which means the bookies aren't convinced. I personally would have thought Solihull would be 8/11 big favourites. The draw is a bog standard 12/5. The bookies do not often get it wrong but 12/11 ,considering our recent performance,is just giving money away.

Personally I'm hoping we score at least one and don't ship any more than 3. Anything better than that will be a great relief - much worse and someone will need to trot down to the river and fish out the wheels.

I am predicting a 1-0 win, Jack barham hattrick and mersin keeping a clean sheet. Let's hope mersin`S misses dose the laundry on Saturday a 1-0 win but Barham scoring a hat-trick - How's that work out? I'm going for a 1-5 defeat our record against Solihull is shocking, it will be a dire game and we'll have someone sent off due to their ****housery As for our record against them: 16/17: Lost 2-4 and Lost 2-0 17/18: Drew 1-1 and Lost 1-0 18/19: Lost 1-3 and Lost 5-0 (This was the TV game) So out of a potential 18 points we have taken 1 Scored 4 and conceded 16 Oh but I will add I'll still be there hoping that a miracle happens and we pull a win out of our hats.

One of those games where the performance is more important than the result. Sword chose the heading well. They are clearly a good side, but their behaviour was pathetic in previous games - mooers, bleaters, divers, play actors and constantly in the ref's face. Can only hope they are above that now.

The like of Solihull, Bromley and Sutton who we used to play have all progressed more than us despite fewer resources.

Sooner or later a team is going to take most of its chances against us rather than just 25%.
Saturday could be the day so I'm going for a 1 - 7 beating
