Did the Hearts fans show the authorities what not to do?

As cricket has proved today having the national anthem sang and black armbands with the Queen on screen is a fitting tribute. Can you imagine the football fans with Union Jack flags and singing anthem during games? Surely this is a much better send off? Presumably we get to do that Tuesday evening?

I'm hearing a story that a family of Solihull supporters who now live in Norway have spent £1100 on ferry, train and hotels for today's postponed game. If true that is horrendous bad luck.

It is bad luck but they can still come and sample the delights of Maidstone. Just without the footie.

If your Solihull fans, why in the world would you spend that to go see them play away at Maidstone?! Surely a home game, or a big away day would be better.

I can only assume they are taking in the midweek fixture and next weekend as well as it seems a lot of money for a long weekend in Maidstone.

I had a dream the other night. I suddenly discovered the match was on tv (with me on holiday in Wales) and initially saw the score as 1 - 0 to us, but on looking more closely, realised it was 1 - 8 to them, and not even half time yet. Luckily the dream didn’t last long…..

Now time to revive this thread. If their players are still as big as they were last time we were in the same league, then we are in trouble - especially if they have the pace and energy to go with it. Could be a perfect storm on Tuesday? Then again, they only managed a draw at Gateshead yesterday, so hope springs eternal!

But whither atrophy? I hope we can get a draw on Tuesday, but I fear we are going to get stuffed, as per Forest (my home town team) at Arsenal today... Would like to see Ellul back in defence, instead of Mensah, with Deacon, Pattisson and Barham up front, Booty, Odusanya and Corne (if fit) in midfield.

Think we'll lose 4-1. Although, this could be the game Sol finally makes his debut - would love to see him come on and at least give us a glimmer of hope for our upcoming games.
