If I had to choose between having Michael Phillips as a player or daveu as a supporter, how hard would it be to decide ? Not hard at all ! Totally agree with this, while Micky Philips is one of our best, and hopefully we'll see him in the black and amber once again. DaveU has always and always will be one of us. Wins by a country mile.

By all acounts daveu is a top supporter but it was disappointing to see him slag off Michael Phillips in the way he did. Personally I would love to see Michael Phillips back at the Gallagher.

So a player who dumped us before and went to Wealdstone and then found out he couldn't hack it decided that he wanted to come back saying he never wanted to leave (And our fans lap up his excuse) We sign the player he stays for a while then has a better offer and dumps us for Barnet then finds out he can't hack it and wants to come back saying he never wanted to leave And our fans lap up his excuse again) If we do sign him again then how long before he gets a better offer and dumps us again.
Yes I agree we need new blood and a bit of a refresh but I 100% do not believe that Michael Philips is the answer.

As Sam said on another thread there are a few Stones supporters who wouldn't have Michael Phillips back. I just hope they end up being disappointed.

Including Michael Phillips Michael isnt a Stones supporter. He is a professional footballer who gives his all for whatever club.. but he has a soft spot for Maidstone.. and we miss him. I have a soft spot for Gillingham it's called Grimpen Mire😁. I have nothing against Philips but he'll come back for a while then bugger off again whereas Dave U will still be here, health permitting for another 20+years I think it was young deadly who said that Phillips is more welcome than Dave U which is an insult and a half on a long term supporter of this club🤬

He mskes it very clear that in his opinion Michael Phillips is unwelcome at the club. Well that's not my opinion and won't be able that of hundreds of other Stones supporters.

One of the players we have missed this season is def Michael Phillips. He played so well in that holding midfield area, nothing spectacular but a really good team player. Pity to see him slagged off by the few.

No question the offer from Barnet was much better than Stones could manage. Such a shame, but I aware from club sources that he left on very good terms. Never say never in football and no way should the gates to the Gallagher be closed to Michael Phillips. If the opportunity arises to recapture his services then it gets my vote and I guess plenty of others.

Nothing wrong in opting for a career move for more money. If that makes somebody 'money grabbing' sobeit. But calling Michael Phillips a 'back-stabber' is well out of order.

It’s the classic bitter fan assumption. No knowledge of our offer to him, Barnets offer to him, timings of offers or anything.
He signed for someone else - oh he’s a backstabber.

Jesus. That was painful to watch - even worse than it sounded on SL.
Their first goal was from a horrible Deacon mistake. And it just got worse...
I don't know what it is, but something is definitely horribly wrong. Was the water spiked or something?!
