Yeah Dave how did our former NL player or the year and key component in last year's midfield stab us in the back? He said it was a very difficult decision to leave (both times). I would have him back in an instant.

No. Really. No. We talked a lot about this on the long walk back to Newcastle and we couldn’t think of a single good performance from our side. Joe tried during parts of the second half - but as another Stone pointed out in the crowd, some of the trouble in front of our goal was caused by Joe - inter alia - not thinking or acting quickly enough. Hak? Well - the formula wasn’t working, and starting to sub so late (and at the opposite end of the park to where we’re really leaky) just didn’t work. Best Stones performer of the day was the cheerleader in the crowd leading the “Alabi” chant. Best - by a country mile. Any chance someone could put the chant on here, it has been mentioned on Facebook saying it was brilliant. Brightened up an otherwise dull day it would seem. Well done all that went. It's basically the tune Tequila but with the word Tequila replaced with Alabi The Champs version of Tequila

Bring back Michael Phillips on loan. He's not getting a sniff at Barnet and my sources tell me he is keen to come back... Absolutely not. However bad things get he showed no loyalty to the club that did loads for him last season. The money grabbing back stabber made his bed so let him lie in it. If someone offered you the same job Dave but for much more money…wouldn’t you take it? People perspectives change with football but he’s just a non-league footballer trying to earn a living…of course he’ll go where the money is.

Yeah his is a point I have tried to raise many times with people. And if they are being honest they would say yes

No daveu doesn't have any useful information. Interprets events any which way he wants and comes up with the wrong conclusion.

Michael Phillips is a top bloke. Def expect to see him back at the Gallagher sometime in the black and amber. Imo the sooner the better.

The fact of the matter is Michael Phillips got a great offer at a time when he couldn't afford to turn it down. As far as I'm concerned he would be welcome back anytime.

If I had to choose between having Michael Phillips as a player or daveu as a supporter, how hard would it be to decide ? Not hard at all !

I have had plenty of run ins with daveu on here but would as a supporter of this club I would not knock him at all. He was supporting the club before we returned home when others had turned their back on the club.

He is a professional footballer who gives his all for whatever club.. but he has a soft spot for Maidstone.. and we miss him.
