Our next six games are against Solihull, Wealdstone, Bromley, Chesterfield, Boreham Wood & Barnet.
With how our defence is and the amount of chances we allow, is anyone honestly confident at getting many points from these games??

Obviously I wasn't there to se this pitiful performance but I would like to point out that we have taken 6 points from the last 3 games,I will take that in any league. Given: a) Our performance today and at Wrexham and b) The next few fixtures By early October, we could well have taken 6 points from the last 9 games. Would you stil take that? The future hasn't been written yet or if it has the book is unavailable. We scored a goal Saturday whereas The Scum have scored one goal in 7 games ,is that what You would like?

Hak sounds very deflated. Wouldn't you be if you awarded players a contract and a massive pay rise only to find out they aren't up to it but will still be at the club after Terry Casey has kicked you up the arse and onto the dole queue. I don't have the facts available but to the best of my knowledge Hak hasn't had a great deal of success at this level ,did he not guide the good ship Braintree to the ocean floor. On another thread it has been said that we may have to tighten up the belt where money us concerned so how do we get these new players to the club if the purse strings have been cut? Will our players take a voluntary pay cut if finances take a bleak turn for the worse? I would think the club has budgeted for home gates of around the 3000 and we are a long way short of that at the moment and as it has been said elsewhere, we might lose the next six games in which case we'll not get 2000 let alone 3. Yes I think Hak has every reason to be deflated.

On the positive side the club will save money as they will not be paying win bonuses

Bring back Michael Phillips on loan. He's not getting a sniff at Barnet and my sources tell me he is keen to come back...

My sources tell me he never wanted to leave, but that's another story.
If Stones can afford to take him back, then YES PLEASE !

Early days, but the warning signs are clear to all except those who refuse to see.
The team's success last year was pretty much down to just 11 players, with others playing a 'bit part'.
The club only lost Michael Phillips from our first choice X1, but sadly we have to add the injuries to Joan and Jerome. The 'loss' of Tom Hadler is self inflicted.
The Stones persisted in giving contracts to the half dozen of so players who never achieved a great deal at nls level. Harsh but true.
Hak then went on the recruit half a dozen new players to strengthen the squad. No need to comment on how successful this has been, it's blindingly obvious.
Further emergency signings this season to plug gaps have not been too inspirational either.
Hak needs to rediscover the knack of turning water into wine. He achieved miracles look season, we could do with some more inspired signings.

No need to panic. The club will have money put aside to spend as needed. Hak wanted to give last year's champions a chance...as did most fans...Hak says in interview he is getting to know whose limit was NLS.. i am confident he will sort things.
Next month is a tough one and we need some steel..oh for a Stuart Lewis-type player.

Referencing an earlier post - both yesterday's & the Wrexham defeat came after travelling up the day before & staying overnight. Maybe the players would feel more comfortable travelling on the day?
Luque previously struggled at this level & will probably do so again. JBW I'm not sure about.
We have 2 loanees neither of whom are good enough to make the starting XI, one can't even get on the subs bench.
Looking at the league table for recent seasons we probably need to get 50 points to finish above the relegation places. I'll think we'll just about do it.

Ooohhhh, sounds like you have some juicy info? How did he stab us in the back? I like a good bit of inside knowledge.
