They’ve just spent a fortune repainting the bus station, but there is tons of litter below near the river Len. I know it’s the job of the Mall/Council/Sainsbury’s, but people of Maidstone, don’t be disgusting pigs. Saw a group of teenagers munching their takeaway meals by the cannon last week, they all left their polystyrene containers on the floor an walked away with a bin located less than 10 yards away. Do we really want to save the planet for these morons. Sorry to be pedantic but the planet isn't threatened. We are looking to save ourselves |

The forecaster should just say its gonna rain then if it doesn't everyone is happy and if it does then hey it was forecast stop moaning. |

Sitting at a pavement cafe in town this morning, was admiring ladies in their summer clothes going by and despairing at the amount of tattoos on display by some of them.
Why? It is real 'emporers' new clothes' for me and certainly does nothing enhance a lady's looks. Nor do multitudes of piercings either, especially the ones that look like they have a bogey permanently hanging from their nose.
Piercings will grow over when they tire of them, but the tattoos are there for life.
When there are so many other (less painful and permanent) ways to adorn and embellish oneself, you have to wonder.

Indeed, but still don't think it is worth a lifetime's disfigurement. Plus they just look ugly - and probably cost a fortune. Money better spent on nice clothes, jewellery, hair do, etc.

The mall centre management and to do as they promised and put up larger signs to inform people that the exit ramp from the rooftop car park is not a pedestrian walkway for gym goers!
