Hoping we can get our Scott(CF) and George (CB) signed up in the next few days. They are both big players for the team It's been a while, so - who's Scott?

Scott Rendell is not exactly young and hungry but he is a target man who knows how to fill the onion bag. His record is very good but has he got one more decent season left at this level ? Probably !

Don't normally take much notice of car park talk, but the whisper is that Ekolobi and Rendell are the 2 outstanding players from last season with whom the club are still having discussions. Masses of experience between the 2 of them, both players offering something special for the team. Hopefully Bill will be able to get the deals across the line.

I"m guessing that's rhetorical ? No, it wasn't. I checked the OS for team photos, but couldn't find any. It's just my aging brain. I even forgot my unforgettable password to get into a (non football) club website.

From the BBC..........
"Wealdstone have parted company with midfielder Michael Phillips by mutual consent.
The 23-year-old has agreed to terminate his contract after two seasons at the club, including helping them to win National League South in the 2019-20 season."
Would be great to see him back.

He’ll probably go to Dartford

It seems so long ago that he won the Player of the Season award. In fairness it was a lousy season with little competition. Performances of 6/10 and 7/10 were good enough to win comfortably enough. Disappointing though that he hasn't done well to earn another contract with Wealdstone. He's at an age when he should be improving, not dropping down a league.

I didn't think he was anything special & was surprised when Wealdstone signed him. Haven't we signed enough midfield players already?

YES A centre back (or two), a striker and maybe another full back and we will have a full squad.

Back-up keeper Billy Johnson signs. No Ravan Constable next season.
