Oh dear! Cruddy cup anyway! 🙄 Where did the Dover dislike come from? We've got on with them well in past years. From the appalling way they treat us as away fans in the last few visits. Just like Bromley and both are grounds I will never return to Totally agree here. Dover as an away day is a big no for me in the future. Living near Bromley I've been a fair few times, and that is genuinely the worst place going though. God I hate it. From the walk to the ground to the lack of pubs nearby to the absolutely shocking uncovered section of their away stands. Awful. Clubs who drop out of League 2 and go there must really realise they're playing non league football when they go there...

They are a small club playing way above their weight because Parmenter is pumping in money every year. He dreams of League football at Crabble (take a moment to ponder the insanity of this), but I suspect that most of the fans know the reality - the minute he walks away, their dreams are over. So they make up for this with Billy Big Bollocks attitude. Which the club only makes worse by treating away fans like criminals - thus stoking up the ill feelings and potential aggro.
They are today's Margate.
And largely ditto for Bromley.

I thought we were paying forwards to put the ball in the net,so why are Centrebacks taking the first 2 . We handed the advantage to them straight away, have our forwards got no bottle☹ I don’t understand how Hak can let that happen. Strikers should be putting their hands up first and putting the ball in the back of the net. Ridiculous how many we have missed so far. Hak took our best player by the sounds of it on the night off before the game was dead and buried. Poor decision. Idiot, hak had no choice with the three substitutions due to INJURIES, but let's not let facts get in the way of abusing hak.

So you telling me that there were no strikers or midfielders on the pitch that would have been a better choice than our centre backs??

So you telling me that there were no strikers or midfielders on the pitch that would have been a better choice than our centre backs?? No you said he made a poor decision in substituting our best player, who would be Seaman who for the two minutes before he went off could barely move, maybe you think keeping a player on the pitch for ten minutes who can barely walk is right. Or maybe that you thought him taking off kreshniqi was a bad decision but a guy hopping around holding his hamstring ain't going to do much good when you want your players to be able to close others down. I stand by my comment that you are an idiot for chastising the substitutions when you had no idea why they were done just another band wagon jumper beating the club with a stick.

I don't understand this blaming of Hak. If your two most senior players, regardless of position, volunteer to go first in the shoot out surely you trust them instead of forcing a younger lad with less confidence to step up? It hasn't worked out on this occasion but in no way is Hak responsible for the players failing to score from 12 yards.

Whilst being disappointed with not making it to the first round proper, nice to have some perspective. 3 years ago today we were moments away from going out in the fourth qualifying round at home to Enfield, missing two first-half penalties and Joe Pigott rescuing us in the 95th minute and forcing a replay. It's cup football, things like this happen. Any other season we would have got a second attempt at the Gallagher instead of despair of conceding that late and straight to penalties.

Try this "Out of the FA Cup, hell, fury and damnation, the pain and anger hasn’t dissipated during the night". His replies in that same thread I found surprising, saying the team maybe aren't as good as had been hoped. In the two games i've seen, I've been impressed - Wimborne is a blip, and nothing more for me. Teams win games and teams lose games. Liverpool conceded 7 to a much inferior side before the break, but I didn't hear many people doubting the talent in that side after, or questioning the likelihood of winning the league again.

It's a great point about it would have gone to a replay usually, didn't even consider that. Loved that Enfield match in a weird way. Frustrating match but loved that ground and finally getting the win over the line was brilliant. I miss the Pig!

Up till now the forum has been contented and upbeat. One defeat and the lunatics have taken over the asylum.

Silly to look for scapegoating for last night's loss. The injuries didnt help us and neither did the missed penalties and other missed chances. Hak to blame ? NO ! Roll on Saturday and 3 points.

Oliver is not amused at our defeat in fact he sounds livid. I would post his Twitter comments if I knew how. We really needed the cash from a good cup run. He's entitled to be mad after the way we lost that game. Just watched the highlights and it's clear we should have put it to bed in the second half. Our penalties were a joke. None of our takers (including Rendell's effort in normal time) could get the ball anywhere near the corner of the net. Really, really poor efforts. I am sure Oliver like the rest of us, feels a massive sense of frustration at that.
