I thought we were paying forwards to put the ball in the net,so why are Centrebacks taking the first 2 . We handed the advantage to them straight away, have our forwards got no bottle☹ I don’t understand how Hak can let that happen. Strikers should be putting their hands up first and putting the ball in the back of the net. Ridiculous how many we have missed so far. Hak took our best player by the sounds of it on the night off before the game was dead and buried. Poor decision.

Chippenham beat Ebbsfleet 9-8 on penalties. That's really cheered me up!

It was a 'clever' ruse, but it was pretty much doomed to fail.

Dover losing always cheers me up! I was just dreading Fleet fans ribbing us about penalties, so it was really good to hear you'd had your own problems! We're all tarts, basically...

Oh dear! Cruddy cup anyway! 🙄
Where did the Dover dislike come from? We've got on with them well in past years.

Sounds like Hak was not happy with our midfield players towards the end of the game. Not happy with the game management and not being able to close the game out.

Well bearing in mind we could not watch if we got a big draw away its not that big a deal..although money would have helped the club. Agree entirely. If there was any season to go out early in the cup this is the one for it. Half the prize money,no chance of fans going to a big club’s ground or watching a big club at ours. Hopefully a kick up the butt to make sure we see out other matches. Hopefully by next summer we will be back so a good trophy run would be good as a trip to Wembley would be great.

Does a lack of fans make for worse performances? Although a toxic crowd can be just as damaging.

Sod's Law - the day after all the talk about this is a team that can go places and they blow it at a place called Wimbournedledon. Oh well, shit happens, as the Buddhists say, but the real test will now come on Saturday. Already have a bit of an injury list and three games in seven days with a fair bit of travelling not the best preparation. Penalty practice might help, perhaps and shooting generally, as we do not seem to be converting enough chances thus far. Hopefully that changes on Saturday.

Best of luck to Wimborne. What will be a shame for them is if they are drawn away to an 'elite' club and cannot watch their team. This is not really the year for a decent cup run.

Given the way he boots the ball here there and everywhere out of defence, asking him to do a subtle job like putting a penalty into the corner of a net seems weird! George has such a big heart, I guess he'll always want to step up and have a go but as a manager you have the right to say 'no'.
