Interesting on Ross Marshall. A little surprised he potentially has gone up two levels but he is only 20 and he's quite a big lad. He was better at CB than midfield - dare I say it, it's quite similar to Dan Sweeney who has done well for himself.

He did well when he moved to centre back. We have to rebuild that spine. I expect the club will holds its nerve and wait to see which good players fail to get deals and are available nearer the start of the season. We certainly need to sign some more experience. I was watching the Cheltenham highlights the other day and it reminded me of what a strong team we had then.. Pigs, Zavon, Stu Lew, Alex Finney, Seth, Reece P, Worgs.. I hope we can get as excited about next season's squad.

Should've gone to Macclesfield away when we beat them 4-1 could easily have been a good few more the football that day by us was superb.

Marshall was kind of average for us, I wasn’t really a fan of his and had he resigned I would seen it as a bit of waste. Maybe he could become more of a player at Stevenage, he played CM when he first joined and the game passed him by, he moved to CB in which he looked slightly better but he lacked pace and awareness of a defender. He tired a load of Hollywood balls from the back which sometimes came off but rarely. Good luck anyway.

Next season is suddenly looking interesting. Are these experienced old pros signing for Maidstone because we are an attractive prospect? Or is it the reality of the current financial situation beginning to bite?

Or is it the reality of the current financial situation beginning to bite? There are a lot of old pro's in Maidstone especially round the back of the Chequers at twilight time.

Because the young up and coming players took us to the dizzying heights of mid table last season.
