Whilst we are on the rumour merrygoround, how about the one that surfaced yesterday about JS1 on his way to Dover ? From another well known sauce. Hard to believe, but you never really know. This is possible. I expect Dover to revert to part time next season and Hess probably won't want to stay part time as he will look for a fulltime football job.

Wonder if there would be a possibility of getting Tom Mills back if we do revert to part time, though god knows where he's currently playing. It's hard to imagine him having become terribly unfit / lost some of his ability. Would certainly help to get some of the disillusioned fans back on track

I seem to recall that we lost the Worgs to Dover not long after the arrival of Bozo.
It was all about Lee needing a decent 2 year contract as a keeper/coach, something that the club couldn't manage.
But the club then did pretty much exactly that a few months later. Strange but true.
No question that Lee would always be very welcome back at the Gallagher.
They were such happy days before the arrival of the Messiah.

Assuming Worgs returns as GK coach (and maybe backup keeper) where does that leave Chris Lewington?

They were such happy days before the arrival of the Messiah. Indeed. You have to be very careful what you wish for! Same thing happened at West Hamp with Redknap - he gave us the best years since the 80s, but couldn't seem to take us any further. So they sacked him. We ended up losing all our best players, going down, and nearly going bust (and ultimately losing our ground). While Harry went on to great success at Spurs, of all places. If fate follows that pattern, Jay will take Dover into the NL - with Tom playing the best football of his life...

They're already in the NL. And Tom Mills wasn't playing anywhere after Margate dumped him some months before Covid 19 was even heard of.

Yep. Sheppey for a while and then a half hearted effort at Margate. Nothing over strenuous, basically he played football for fun but never wanted to be taken too seriously. Lets just say he peaked very early and never fulfilled his potential. But I don't suppose he's bothered.
