Click on the number in the replies column to see who keeps certain discussions at the top of the board. One particular member is miles ahead for number of posts in this and the other political thread. Cool - I didn't know you could do that. Not exactly a surprise though! 36 posts (32%!) - must have been restraining himself. Sword is next busiest poster, at 18 - half of nws's posts! Although, of course, I've just buggered up all the stats by posting this... ANother little fact is that you started all the Brexit posts off in the first place after Shamstone made a little joke about May Wheelering us over Brexit. Ooops...inconvenient.

This is way beyond parody...

To be honest HKStone. I am going to start looking at my pension today and tomorrow and swap it to something as stable as I can get it. If I can manage to stay employed FT for 3 more years then things might not be too bad. Next on my list is Irish passports and then a prayer that Scotland becomes independent and rejoins the EU. I can then try for a Scottish passport.

Aside from a majority of people being potentially poorer with possible higher unemployment how do you see Brexit affecting us? We could see a reunited Ireland and increasing demands from Scotland to be independent. If both of those happened then I wonder if Wales might get stronger in it's independence agitations. I'm concerned that we could see a breakdown in society, as people get more desperate through being poorer. It's already bad enough with rising food poverty etc. This will, IMHO, be against a backdrop of rising realisation amongst the older enraged people that they have voted to make billionaires richer and themselves poorer and an increasing anger amongst young people that have seen their rights, protections and freedoms frittered and voted away by aforementioned older enraged group.

Didn't my hard Glaswegian brogue ever give it away
