Cheers, Barney. Not bad highlights, although he missed the foul the pen was given for - but then it was up the other end, so I guess the footage wouldn't have shown much. All the goals were good, but I really loved the first one - one of those you can see coming two or three passes before it goes in. It's been a long time since I've seen one of those at JWW. HH was a lot happier in his post-match, but was still mostly going on about Weymouth - and no mention of the 'new' guy at all! Still, it was a nice change to see him smile.

Very poor defending for Welling, so certainly grateful for that. Takh's penalty no doubt more down to wanting to get involved than anything else. At least he's shown he is keen and certainly took his goal well. Suddenly a welcome selection headache for the next game, with George and Noah back, plus both Allen and Takh pushing for starts. Are Boucard and Akanbi fit again yet? If so, then management might even have the luxury of being able to bring on subs who might just change a game.

Fickle, nous?

'twas ever thus... However, we all know that lack of consistency has been the biggest problem this year, so doubt if anyone should get optimistic. Logic says we ought to win every game left apart from the last two against Slough and Wstone, whereas winning the next one on its own would be a nice surprise!

For some of us it's just in our nature. You just have to be able to cope with the disappointment.

Also the third goal was something special. Now we can stop speculating about the Management set up (other than who Haks gonna get in around him) Im feeling that optimism!
