Embery and McClure were clearly unfit and playing them together up front made for a hopeless pairing. No cutting edge, no pace, weak in the air, weak on the ground. With Amaluzor putting in another ineffectual performance, despite his obvious talent, it was a surprise we managed a couple of goals. Edwards is clearly out of favour. It appears that the club still has 4 players on the transfer list that other clubs are not interested. John and Hakan could really do with losing the non contributors to make way for 2/3 quality signings in the New Year. Whatever happened to Sam Corne ?

Disjointed & disappointing performance, draw was a fair result.
Amaluzor is an enigma, when he signed late last season he looked a great prospect but this season has been in and out of the side and has performed indifferently. He appears to have the ability but maybe it's just a mentality/attitude problem.
Tuesday's replay is a good thing in my opiniom. Rest a few players and put out the following side (or similar) & tell them that places are up for grabs at Blackpool. If that doesn't motivate them...
Lewington Marshall, Johnson, Pennell Kyei, James, Kamdjo(if fit), Amaluzor Allen, Edwards, McClure

Both McClure and Embrey showed they are not match fit yet, both coming back from injury so won't knock their performance. Saidhu tried and got nowhere. Amapozer needs to up his game a lot, both defencifly and going forward, as there won't be a big bucks move to a premier league club playing like that. The defence must have gone to princess park as they struggled with every set peice around the penalty area. Kudos to Wish and Chesmain again, neither of the dartford goals came from their flank. One big thing should be pointed out though, the ref never blew for a penalty. he puffed for everything else and ruined the early tempo of the game and never booked bonner (no 6) for dissent? Bonner, No6 and captain, was a petulant pain in the arse. Should have been booked early on for disputing the Lino's call by swearing abusively in his face. Argued about everything and got away with too many fouls of the sort we saw go unpunished last season. Indeed, the ref was not in control for much of the first half and was surprised there were no red cards or serious injuries. See the replay is on Tuesday - not exactly the best preparation for Sunday. I agree with that we shouldn't be playing midweek before our cup game but will it really make any difference? Let's face it if we cannot stop Dartford from scoring then Blackpool are going to murder us providing of course they take the game seriously and dont insult us by putting out the fringe players or reserves.

That's exactly why these guys end up playing non league.

Elliot Romain never had that sort of game for us. Possibly because the marking was so much better in the National League?

I too was impressed last season with Justin in the short time he had with us. Currently though he reminds me more of a post injury Loza, tries to do too much and is a little greedy with the ball. Maybe it can be coached out of him as there is a good player in there but if he can’t adjust certain parts of the game he will struggle to get any decent career going.

Exactly. Said it a few weeks ago. Another Loza. Think they’ve cracked it then they just go backwards

Sadly Justin and Loza an in fairness at least another half a dozen ex players from last year all had the same reactions, they play well get themselves a contract for a year or two then suddenly they lose all eagerness to impress an just plod through the motions, I dont think it can be coached in to them I think it,s just complacency because they know there,s no real competition for places due to a small squad so they know they will always be picked if they stay clear of injuries, apart from a short sharp kick up the backside I,m at a loss for a soloution.

Sadly I guess, we need to accept that in total this team is not good enough. There are some some who meet the grade but overall we cannot put 11 team players on the park at one time. I lost count of how many times we overhit balls from defence into Darts half, to the byline or off the pitch. We continually in every game hit high balls to opposition defence above the heads of our forwards- the Ball comes right back at us and we surrender initiative to opposition. We do not win enough second ball.
We have a number of players who over dribble and over complicate the game and until JS2 and HH sort that out we will remain second best to Teams Like Dartford. Teams in the NLS have watched us, they have seen how we play and how many of our players always have to beat the extra man- In Short we are predictable and they have worked us out.

No longer sure HH and JS2 are capable of sorting it out, JS2 maybe but HH fills me with no confidence whatsoever.

We are exactly where the owners can afford to be, they cannot afford for us to go higher, personally I think they are playing a dangerous game in thinking that they will always generate good crowds but there is a big chance that a lot of fans will get tired quickly an look elsewhere for Saturday afternoon football fix. We are a club on the edge of trouble bigger than a lot of people imagined. More money is needed into the club sooner rather than later.
