Dartford look like this they all had three cans of Redbull before the game. Stones are pinned back, looking like they had three mugs of Horlicks. Darts certainly being robust and not a little dirty, their number six especially, and the lino that side must be his dad.

Stones gradually get a foothold and a Wishart pile-driver gives us the lead.

Draw a fair result considering we looked for the biggest chunk of the game under the cosh. If Dartford had their finishing boots in the first half would of been a different matter.
Hopefully our defence wakes up as it seems their periods of switching off in recent times is getting rather costly

Elliot Romain never had that sort of game for us. Overall Man of the Match for me by a country mile.

No better than a 6/10 performance really, with our defence still switching off when it matters and making a habit of conceding cheap goals too regularly.
Shame about Akanbi going off injured early on, as his form leading the line has been very good for quite a while.
Jake Embery looked way off the pace and contributed little during his time on the pitch.
Much the same can be said for McClure who looks a shadow of the player we saw earlier in the season.
With Amuluzor having another below par performance, despite his goal, we looked toothless up front most of the match.
At least Wishart maintains his form consistently, scoring another excellent goal
Shame about Sam Corne being absent for so long, we seem to be missing him in midfield.

Dartford clearly like playing us, but not sure we like playing them. Actually thought we played well enough for the first hour in that we weathered the early Dartford storm, gradually got into the game and largely controlled the middle half hour. Warning signs began when we started pulling all eleven back for corners, even though Cole hadn't really made a save. So then we give the ball away cheaply in their half and Dartford score a soft equaliser. The shape of the defence that had held till then fell apart and though we did well to get the lead again, it was no surprise when they equalised, or so that it was Romaine, who worked his socks off all afternoon. So, almost worse than losing, because now we have to endure Dartford 3 (replay), 4 (KSC) and 5 (home league). Just as well it's Blackpool next week, as we are not playing anyone else any time soon, it seems. Hope Ibs is alright for next week.

Just listened to post match interviews from John and Hakan. They talked about a lack lustre performance without energy from the players. Tbh I feel happy enough to be on the same wavelength, much better than thinking I was at a different match.

The way I feel about this team is that individually I think they are good players and I wouldn’t want to see any swapped but somehow it doesn’t translate to a complete performance
Our defence is made of good players but we let lots of goals in.
Not sure what the answer is

Elliot Romain never had that sort of game for us. Overall Man of the Match for me by a country mile. I think he always looked as if he had something like that in him when he played for us, but for whatever reason could never actually produce it - and gradually his performances tailed off until he eventually became little more than a headless chicken. So now I assume he’s scored more games AGAINST us at the Gallagher than he ever scored FOR us there ?!? Typical !!

To my recollection his only goal for us came in a cup game...he’s certainly scored more against us than for us.

The past two games have shown why both teams will be at this level next season.
We can't hold onto a lead And They can't get a lead

Both McClure and Embrey showed they are not match fit yet, both coming back from injury so won't knock their performance. Saidhu tried and got nowhere. Amapozer needs to up his game a lot, both defencifly and going forward, as there won't be a big bucks move to a premier league club playing like that. The defence must have gone to princess park as they struggled with every set peice around the penalty area. Kudos to Wish and Chesmain again, neither of the dartford goals came from their flank. One big thing should be pointed out though, the ref never blew for a penalty. he puffed for everything else and ruined the early tempo of the game and never booked bonner (no 6) for dissent?

Bonner, No6 and captain, was a petulant pain in the arse. Should have been booked early on for disputing the Lino's call by swearing abusively in his face. Argued about everything and got away with too many fouls of the sort we saw go unpunished last season. Indeed, the ref was not in control for much of the first half and was surprised there were no red cards or serious injuries. See the replay is on Tuesday - not exactly the best preparation for Sunday.
