No mention yet for Saturday's game, so here goes. Am guessing the crowd won't be very big, though local derby might help. Wonder what type of teams both clubs put out too. A chance to play some of the fringe/youth element, or (being the non league's only realistic chance of a trip to Wembley, should it be seen important enough to send out full strength? Either way, the teams will need to get used to seeing each other, with a possible replay, KSCup and the return league match still to come in the next few weeks.
Finding it very difficult to get motivated for this game so may give it a miss. We had our chance to get to Wembley last season but we tamely surrendered to Stockport and yes I know it's another year and a different squad but that abject performance last year still hurts. I think we will win but the crowd may struggle to top the 1000 mark.
Their fans are meeting up in the Dragoon, of all places. Why don't a couple of us join them and double their numbers.
Last time went there was prior to the Brighton game, we left the Flowerpot because we were not particularly made welcome (I’m happy to say that attitude has changed and they now happy with football fans) We walked into the Dragoon and about 10 heads turned and stared at us not a word spoken! It was like we had walked into a private party, they had 6 hand pumps all Master Brew it was a weird experience No intention of repeating that again
