We have some seriously dull pre season friendlies.
A trip to Tun Wells would be fun.

Awful news - and sobering too. Here we are celebrating our (potential) good fortune and dreaming dreams, and they're having to clear up the ashes and hope the insurance is enough. Easy to forget just how close to the edge most grassroots clubs are - even though, we, of all clubs, should know. It would be good to have a collection for them at the next home game. Mind you, it would be even better if the clubs like Notts County, Chesterfield and Wrexham, who can't wait to buy their way out of this lowly, embarrassing, league, donated some of their good fortune to a club that needs it far more than they do. The cheque from Notts County may bounce

After last nights dish of ointment and with the owners who fired him going and us being in NS next year and with little money wouldn’t it be fantastic if Mr Saunders came back - maybe with George as Assistant? It would lift the spirits for sure, especially if the new ownership isn’t minted enough to buy our way into NL with a whole new NL squad and experienced EFL/NL Manager as look what Jay did before on a budget. Who knows?

Who knows? What new owners? If Oliver and Terry can’t work it out with Alan they still want out so will be open to offers. Admittedly no contenders publicly known of at the moment but there will be someone at some point and next time around I suspect t it will be kept hush hush until the deal is signed. Unless of course Terry and Oliver change their mind but after the unfortunate vitriol poured out by some fans against Oliver in particular-despite what he has done for the club - I doubt if he will want to not sell.

If they were so desperate to get out, they would have taken the current deal. They knew what they were doing when they took over and built the ground - they knew they were in for the long-run, and that there might be hard times (remember, we were in the IS, with gates of around 1,000 then). They did what they did because they wanted to bring the club home and give it a secure future. After ten years, they're not going to just chuck all that away. Terry may be looking forward to retirement, and Oliver may be fed up after this season (who wouldn't be), but they're not going to be paying any attention at all to a bunch of morons on FB. And nor should we.
