Look on the bright side, the oil guys that have invested heavily in the CONservative party are beginning to get a great return on their investment. In December, the Saudis promised to support oil prices by cutting production, and now the potential of a war in the Middle East could be on the horizon. It's win win for BJ's and JRM's bosses. Ha ha...fancy a champers night out to celebrate?😂😂 Dont forget the trickle down effect. We are all richer😂😂😂 |

Indeed. Their freedom to do so will have been removed. I didn't vote for it and I don't want it. However, I recognise it is ridiculous to think about how my daughters' futures will look like in terms of freedoms, economics etc. I should be more focused on feelings about a war that ended 74 years ago that I had nothing to do with. I think we should campaign to leave the commonwealth next because I'm sure I had relatives that fought in the Boer war and I went on a tour in London at the weekend and had to listen to some South African telling some Spanish woman about Cape Town. The only questions are:
a) how long before the Leavers admit it
b) Who gets the blame
I suspect the answers are: a) never, and b) the last Labour government - as that seems to be the Tory answer to everything.

As an unofficial State of America, I think the UK would have some degree of negotiation with the US regarding how a trade deal would look, however I think I recall somewhere that a study concluded that it would probably not be much different to trade between the US and Puerto Rico. Although I have a suspicion that it will turn out to be more like Entente Cordiale between Nero and the Iceni (lock up your daughters - Trump is coming). |
