According to KOL players all being paid late again this month. Several members of the team been put up for transfer. Not looking good for them unfortunately surely there can only be one outcome if this situation carrys on. Manager Daryl McMahon confirms Ebbsfleet's players will be paid eight days late this month t.co/iYRQoND9xI t.co/aBiCDqjaZ9

Maybe they don't have the money until we visit en masse. Really hope we don't lose a quarter of Kent clubs from the National League.

Wasn’t there another thread about Ebbsfleet the other day? Seems like a duplicate.

If the dream collapses it will probably benefit the Stones, but I will still feel more sadness than any other emotion. Their supporters deserve better. Strength in National League numbers within Kent is what we should all want, let alone the special atmosphere of derbies.

Another set of fans who get shafted by actions out of their control.
Sure they revelled in the highs...who wouldn’t?
The club has been going for 60 odd years and a wealthy man with an idea can come in and recklessly put it all at risk.

It was never if this dream died but when...we see it time and again. The same will happen at Billericay and maybe Salford. Ebbsfleet, like Dover, just do not have the fanbase to go above the National League. If you are just relying on a sugar daddy who ends up paying players late time and again it will end in tears. Got to feel sorry for Fleet fans who are currently hoping this is not the end of the dream. We will see...

If it all goes tits up, I'll feel for the fans, obviously, but he's given them times they probably wouldn't have had without him (whatever his motives) - possibly even saved the club. And, chances are, they'll come out of it a lot better than we did.

Can’t see it happening at Salford, the joint owners apart from Peter Lim are all locals and are in for the long haul.

I agree that it is less likely to happen at Salford but I also agree with everything else Steve said, and he is definitely right about Billericay. Tamplin is such an explosive character you just know that at some point in the future, he'll get mightily pissed off with something and walk away from it. Hopefully Fleet will be okay. Although I personally think the new stand design is very poor, it's there and if the owner does leave, provided he doesn't expect a refund on his investment they should be okay. They might have to go back to being just an average club with an average budget, but I am sure if that means they still have a club to support, Fleet fans will manage with that for the time being.

Hmmm, I’ve had dealings with them! All I’ll say on a public forum is good luck!
