And we now have a manager and assistant who actually play the best players, in attacking formations and don't think tactics are small peppermint sweets. Where’s the fun in that

I am afraid I lost all respect for the club when they abandoned the name Gravesend and Northfleet so although I do not want to see them in financial difficulties but other than that I don't give a toss about them. Change the name back and restore the respect that I once had.

So you don't like train stations then.
Or change.

Just be glad the Mid-Kent Parkway station was never built...

Kedwell must be worried, I think he has a final salary pension.

The fact that they players have carried on performing is pretty good. They can't all be mercenaries?
Club has treated them disgracefully.

Especially playing players with no insurance cover.

Surely points deduction or some other punishment must be forthcoming.

Surely points deduction or some other punishment must be forthcoming. The fact that they have continued to sign other players when they are failing to their current ones on time, probably makes the players question things. The pension scheme thing and also this is the players what about other staff at the club, groundsmen etc are they being paid properly as these are the people who have been with the club for years, how have they been impacted by all this considering what they have put into the club over the years.

I don't think all is well, but it is difficult to speculate why this happening before a proper statement is issued by the club. Not sure it is cash flow - we had gate receipts of probably £40k for the 3000 gate at the Orient game. It does seem that getting the money from a Kuwait company account to the Fleet payroll account is presenting long-term and on going difficulties.

Surely points deduction or some other punishment must be forthcoming. Sadly by deducting points it,s the fans that get punished, ban the owners from running a business maybe but why punish the fans who support the club week in week out.

Points deductions only come into effect if the enter administration or arrange a CVA that doesn't repay 100%. You don't get punished for not paying players. The most worrying thing is the failure to pay players' pension contributions having already deducted them from their (overdue) wages, and the failure to pay insurance premiums.

If the problem was transferring the money from one account to the other then surely the date the transfer starts get brought forward once you have had the problem happen. The players have highlighted that this has been going on for some time. This says that either the club don't give a damn that their staff are being paid late or that they cannot be bothered to resolve the issues or they don't think that paying staff late is an issue or their are problems with finances at the club and someone is not being open with the fans. Why are the funds having to be transferred from a Kuwait account to the clubs account to pay the pay roll, is there a issue of where the income is going. The issue with pension payments could be huge for the players and other staff.

Surely points deduction or some other punishment must be forthcoming. That will be the least of their worries if they continue not paying the players', and employer's, pension contributions. They'll end up getting a huge fine they clearly cannot afford to pay, from the ombudsman. The players would also be well within their rights to take legal action as the club have effectively stolen their money. I strongly suspect this article, published yesterday, was the straw that broke the camel's back. They must have been fuming reading it www.kentonline.co.uk/gravesend/sport/hill-knows-his-numbers-197913/
