Muldoon wearing a squad number with his name on last night! Knowing our club they wouldn’t waist the money doing that unless he was going to sign for the season💪🏻 Let’s hope he stays fit Both our "invited back for pre-season" players had named shirts. Loza though had a different squad number to last season.

I'd be grateful if someone could tell me the full squad and, indeed, the team that will be Maidstone United on the opening day of the season otherwise it's a joke!

David Ajiboye looks a decent prospect, currently being trialed at the club.
Given the fact that we have 2 good attacking full backs and with both Turgott and Coker on the flanks, surely there is only space for one more wide man up front ?
Jay still speaking in pretty positive terms about Jamar Loza, so not an easy call.

Having just watched 45 mins of England constantly passing back to Pickford, let's hope Jay got that one out of his system last season.

It was all horribly familiar. Take the lead via an early free-kick, dominate the first half but fail to increase the lead, opposition takes control after half time, heroics from keeper keeps us in game but we never look remotely like scoring from open play (whilst the opposition constantly threaten), inevitable last-minute killer goal...
Perhaps they'd been watching last season videos of us for relaxation?

They were just following Gareth's half-time instructions: "Just keep playing the way you're playing" so, having swapped ends, what was forwards in the 1st half became backwards in the 2nd

Looks very possible that Jay will be announcing 2 new signings very soon
OLLIE MULDOON and JAMAR LOZA
If this pairing are capable of achieving their potential it will be great
Supporters didn't see very much of their potential last season, both seeming unfit throughout.
But if Jay says they are now both looking 'excellent', new contract offers are bound to follow
In one sense, it is hard to get excited after the disappointment of 17/18
But if the players just can get back something close to their best, signings are a 'no-brainer'.

Much as I welcome this, they're hardly new signings!

Well if they are fit and play to their full potential, they will be like new signings
in fact I think Jay may have said something similar,
but there again he's not so pedantic as some of our forum contributors.

Not really that excited if this is true. Muldoon will get injured in the first few weeks of the season and be out for months. Waste of money spent on wages. Can’t see Loza regain his form. Had so many chances in front of goal last year and some easy chances and couldn’t get most of them on target. Rather sign someone else and give someone else a chance.

What,s the latest on the possible signing of a goal keeper that JS has been promising us Nick?

The latest seems to be that Jay has been looking hard enough, but unlike apples, good keepers don't grow on trees.
So the search goes on.
Probably not a priority before now.
With the attacking line up and midfield very nearly sorted, I imagine Jay will be looking to bolster the number of defenders on our books, including a keeper who can compete with Worgs.

Who was the goalie who came on for the last five minutes at Folkestone?

Who was the goalie who came on for the last five minutes at Folkestone? Someone Jay didn't feel very sure about, presumably. 5-0 up with 5 minutes to go...
